Jorge, If the police arrest 10 criminals, and 9 of the criminals are black, the minute someone realizes that most of criminals are black, you know what will be said. We have repeat offenders just committing crime over and over. These two are responsible for creating an environment where criminals know they can do whatever they want.

Riding the public transportation system in Chicago is very difficult. It is unsafe for passengers as well as drivers. Why don't we have Kim Foxx ride the system and see how she likes her policies?

Catherine, I did a story about the CTA. It started out as a story after I noticed many people hopping turnstiles without paying. But we decided to keep recording, and saw a few fights, a man go into a sleeping mans pocket, almost everyone (including mothers with their kids) smoking on the train, a man pull his private part out in front of a child and pee in the back of a train, etc. The shocking part? I got very little response. Some people seemed to be upset with me, as one person even called me " elitist". I sent a tape to the mayor. She told me to F off. The truth is I got the feeling that no one in Chicago truly wants change.

Can't CTA provide security with some of the federal funds they received earlier this year, it was like $912M plus $118M and the employees they have sitting in the booths where you pay, what exactly is their job, they never come out of their secured booths to help with customers struggling at the pay machines, I've seen it because I've assisted riders who are not familiar with the machines, I would be like you need some help, those employees should be replaced with security guards to assist riders because they're use to standing

The bigger problem is that Chicago, the 3rd largest transportation system in the US, DOES NOT have a police/security force. PS: Those attendants in the booth? The have been instructed by CTA to not help. A former employee is suing the CTA because he was fired for punching a man who was attacking a woman. The CTA insists he should not have interfered with the drunk man, who was trying to pull the woman's shirt open.

Good idea, but it wouldn't work. Think about how many people live in Chicago. Now think about how many of those people use the CTA to get to and from work. These people can't stop using public transportation if they want to survive. The problem is, the CTA knows this too. They know all they need to do is the bare minimum, because they are needed.

The judicial system in Chicago is ass backwards. You have an ARGUEMENT and ALMOST come to blows...your in court forever in the day fighting a simple assault THAT NEVER HAPPENED!
