That is indeed, an amazing dream.

I bought things I didn't need to just to make you happy.

it would be cool if malls could be converted into housing and each store was a home, with the food court still being a food court, it would be like a village and everyone would know each other and have a sense of community.

I guess if anyone did want to know what the image is I believe its of the Mountaineer Mall. front entrance of this mall has been a nice place to see nice pic of. been one my favorite mall/liminal space images.

I don’t think this is the mall I grew up going to, but it looks enough like it to induce waves of wistful nostalgia.

I just imagine my self alone in this mall , with no signs of other humanity , id still be okay

This whole mix is the music equivalent of hearing the metaphorical echoes of an era you cherished so dearly slowly fade away while you ponder what life could've been if it got to bask in its preconceived 'glory days' just a bit more. Everyone's got one: the 70s, 80s, 90s, the list goes on. But what's really interesting about 90s nostalgia is that it reminisces a time where technology and real life were at a balance. Not to mention the rapid technological growth that people experienced on every waking moment of the decade. I don't know if it's social media and world issues or small little moments with childhoods rose tinted glasses that make millenials fond of the 90s, perhaps it's both. One thing is for certain, nostalgia's keeping them alive; additionally, with the way things look right now, I don't blame them for using that as a method of life support.

Looking at r/deadmalls while listening to this, hits different that's for sure.

Finally, something nostalgic for someone who was antisocial in the 90s. That bench was kinda home when I wondered what a pretty girl was thinking when she walked by but I was too much of a loser to ask. Still am.

@@jackpijjin4088 there have been times where I've had a couple videos blocked in all countries, but fought the copyright and the owners of the samples basically said alright thats fine with the appeal, but I used Evening Shadows once for a mix, tried to appeal it, they denied and I was given a 1 outta 3 copyright strikes. On my 3rd one, o think the channel gets removed, so I'm very careful with it. Many of my.videos are blocked in 4 regions (North Korea, Syria, Cuba, and Iran), but I looked and I have absolutely no audience there so I don't fight the Copyrights in those cases

The sample in that song was Kenny G - Songbird and he barely did anything to it other than slow it down. Never been a fan of Zadig's non-mallsoft releases for that very reason.

@@Gos72 ah gotcha Yeah that's like... super lame. At least rearrange the song when you add effects like CatCorp does. I know I piss around with songs like that but I only make 'vignettes' for fun, not to release.
