hello. It is common to use displacement maps. You get a better map with caustics, but you get a slower speedlin. There are pros and cons. Hi hey I want to ask you something very important did we can do this tutorial stuff on any close changing thing in video if I want to put any logo onto my shirt cloth in video is it possible with that technique and get realistic result and did your this technique failed lockdown plugin because both are same result Technology result

@@AaliDGr8 Hi, this effect is not suitable for use on videos. You can use this effect on still photos to bring them to life. To apply this effect to videos, you might find the 'Lockdown' plugin or 'Mocha Pro' useful. Alternatively, there is also an AI plugin called 'Neural Warp'. Plugins have their pros and cons. Mocha and Lockdown take some time and skill to get used to, but once you do, you can get decent quality results. Neural Warp is easy to implement, even for beginners, but because it's an AI plugin, it relies heavily on the power of your PC. Also, if your footage is too small or the camera is moving too much, you may not get satisfactory results. You'll have to decide based on the situation of your project and the time you have to work with.

​@@TutoView aww best reply but let me acknowledge you I spent my last all month I mean 30 days to figuring lockdown plugin still..... and realize in the end that this is the most creepiest idioticcccc stupiesttttt and shhiittttyy plugin I confront I mean I spent awake lots of time in nights and days but this foo000l never give me satisfactory result even a slight mean i am talking about its overlapping function bcz whenever i overlap videos used lockdown always failed to get right result like arms hands when overlapping then lockdown do mistake of pushed points OR if i correct it then it stupid make points dead during overlap with ALPHA MASK and did not manage to alive back point when arms pass through forward and points still remain dead and untrack which leads to filthy result and when i try to contact several places to its author vernos he is most stupid person never reply me a little bit totally ignore only his one team worker from aescript replies that "O you can watch our tutorials" aaagh crapppp WTH they mention in their tutorials about complex overlapping huhhh no listen pal i watched all all lockdown tutorial which lend on earth online trust me yes in any language i ate all yes they make 2 tutorials about overlap but its crappp useless just a click bait trust me none of any decent tutorials exist in world about complex overlapping SO i req you plz feel my pain and do one tutorial of complex overlapping here plzz i am going to share you my footages of these project bcz i got no success still...!???

...as long as you don't see the edges of the actual flag itself or a pole. Its just fast noise and displacement, which is a bit of a gimmick because of its limitations. Soon as you zoom out a but the trick falls apart, so it has limited use.

@@TutoView Thanks. Can you apply same kind of displacement to a 3D object in After Effects? Like a flag on a 3D image plane that is using same input or similar input for displacement?

@@KrunoslavStifter In the past, a realistic 3D flag was created with the AE plugin '3D Flag', but unfortunately, development of the plugin has been discontinued. Now, to express a real flag, it must be done in 3D.

@@TutoView I see. Thanks. I was hoping 3D engine in After Effect could be used for displacements by having some kind of custom input. I'm a fusion user not so much After Effects, but sometimes I watch tutorials of Nuke or After effects for ideas to replicate, so I was thinking the reverse could be possible. As you can see here from my test: kzread.info/dash/bejne/apeJm8aInsawp9Y.html I used optical flow node to extract motion vectors from video footage of a flag and applied it to a 3D image plane. It needs some refinement, but principle works, so I was thinking maybe something similar could be done with After Effects. Anyway, thanks for the tutorials and information. Greetings from Croatia.
