This is AMAZING, it's saved me so much confusion in a project with a layer that animates identically multiple times. Top work.

Awesome, thanks a million! I used your code to restart a timecode all over again on one layer. Awesome!

fantastic, nice one. is there any way you can name the marker and have multiple markers doing different things on one layer? i.e. one marker fades layer up, the other fades out?

I think I have the perfect tutorial for what you're after. It's a way to have layer markers trigger different keyframes. In the tutorial I create two layer markers which trigger two pairs of keyframes. For a layer to fade up, all you'd need to do is use the same technique but add the expression to the Opacity rather than the Time Remap. Here's the link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/m3-A0MaIZc3aYdo.html Please let me know how you get on or if you have any other questions

so this is great! how can i adjust it so that the timing of the keyframes is also done by the markers? Im actually animating subtitles, I have all the markers setup but there are about a 100 or more marker, and I will be creating multiple subtitles so I needed something dynamic. This expression works great for starting the animation, at every keyframe. However the duration is fixed to my keyframes. Is it possible to alter this expression so that the first keyframe triggers the first keyframe, and the next marker triggers the last keyframe, then the next marker triggers the first keyframe, and the next marker triggers the last ne and so on and so forth?

@@suryacreates no I didn't, so this expression worked for starting the new subtitle that was on the next marker. So the previous one would just disappear and the next one would appear with the animation. Which ended up working for my purpose
