There's always a risk with being in public, but it's not like these kinds of things are happening on a daily basis over and over again on the MAX. RIP to this victim and their loved ones.

There is a lot of crime, harassment, verbal abuse, drivers being attacked. This is happening an a daily basis. Thankfully not stabbings that kill but very violent crimes on the vehicles and train and bus stations. There has been for a very long time but people are far bolder now. We need more mental health and less calling for hating each other.

I ride the max just a few times a week and for even my personally low sample size, witness attacks and mental health issues making people move away to another car Regularly.
