Another hack for stencils is to mod podge the stencil first. Then paint. Also you can paint the base color. Let it completely dry then do the color you want. 😊

@@bobbywinters3837I’ve tried both of those 😂 and sadly major bleeding. I think the problem might also be that my stencils often get bent edges, so they need to be glued down flat. Mod Podge might peel off in strips if I use it in that way when I go to remove the stencil so I went for the glue stick! ❤🎉

oh Holly, these DIY'S are all so beautiful and they certainly look store bought. You've inspired me to take my bucket that I never used for Fall, and I'm going to do something similar. Yours is so gorgeous. The other 2 projects as well. My opinion would be to add a scarf and I thought the black and white check compliments the whole look. The snowman wreath is absolutely darling!

Everything is just so cute. I like the snowman without a hat and scarf.

I love all of them. The last one with the snowmen, it looks good without the scarves on them.

All of these are fabulous , but my fave is the lady snow person!!!

As always I love all of your decor pieces. I think that yes they need scarves and maybe even some twig arms so they are holding the sign. Oh my yes a big room with a bunch of crafters playing together would be so much fun

I love these. I, too, like decorating for winter after Christmas.. I think the sign is fine the way it is. You don't have a too hat on them, so a scat would make them look half. dressed

Great projects! I love the black and white ribbon for the snowmen on the sign. It really makes them pop and gives dimension to the sign without adding another color to the mix.

These are all awesome! Ya know you can find sticky stencils, or a great tip I learned on KZread was to put the stencil on your surface, paint over it with ModPadge, let it dry thoroughly, then paint with the stencil still on. The paint won't bleed through because of the Mod Podge. It works!! The stencil has to be cleaned well after. Have a great weekend

I tried the Mod Podge trick, and I don’t know what I did wrong, but the painted edges were still all jagged when I went to lift the stencil. The glue stick is the first method that actually did work for me and was super easy almost 0 drying time and definitely cheaper than using the MP. Lol Thank you for the sweet comment! ❤️⛄️❄️🥰❄️

I can’t paint or draw to save my life!!! One way I learned to control a small paint brush was painting my own wooden signs, before I ever had a Cricut. I would print out the text I wanted and then I rubbed a pencil on the back and traced it onto the board and basically “colored in the lines”. One Christmas I made everyone wooden signs. I loved ALL of your projects !

I’m on love with the snowman cutting board!! For an adhesive spray, I use Pixie Spray, it’s much better than the other adhesive sprays!! Thanks for another great video!!
