Just saying jay is probably the most unluckiest character across the one Chicago shows. He has lost his mum and dad, he has been kidnapped 2 times, always getting injured, has been shot 3 times and can never seem to find true love. I hope he will be ok though but why such a cliffhanger 😭

Just like with Otis and everyone else, they wanted to leave and stop filming so they either kill, injure them so bad they can't work anymore or they just move out of Chicago.

@@lamiamohamed2579 Yes i agree there really does seem to be something going on there with her & Jay but i thought Hailey was dating & in love with Adam Ruzek. Or did I miss something ? Like I said I lost track for awhile & just recently started watching PD again. Unless Hailey isn't in love with Ruzek anymore and she's actually starting to fall in love with Jay now which is definitely understandable I can see why . Because every single time something has happened to Jay since he was shot last season she really seems more concerned & worried then in earlier episodes. I actually just brought this past season 6 on DVD over the wknd and I'm going to try to get caught back up because I'm about a yr/ half behind on the show however I did see PD'S last crossover episode this past season where Jay went against Hank's Orders & still went after the guy that had something to do with Jay' s fathers death and then he ended up getting shot and worrying the crap out of Hailey & Voight which ended up with Jay getting the 3rd degree from Hank . But that is pretty much the only episode i did see from last season. So anybody please feel free to help me get caught back up if you want to. Thanks for sharing all these great scenes from PD.

I can't believe they just left us in the wind like that. I hope that Jay doesn't get killed off. But, it's nice to see that he is human after all.

I am still not over Hailey getting reunited with Jay and looking so relieved, only for him to be shot a minute later and torn from her again!! :(

I just binged through the entire 6 and a half seasons of PD. Halstead is vital to the success of this series. Just started watching it. His and Voight's relationship is going in a good direction and needs to be explored. If you kill him off it will kill the show. He is the one steadfast good guy of the group. Never watched PD before now and Halstead is truly my favourite.

Just saying if Jay Halstead dies, the show will die. You will lose a hell lot of views

They wouldn't kill Jay just like that after everything they've built on his character this last season such as his relationship with Hailey, his possible replacement of Voight at the head of the unit, he's also getting closer to his brother like we've seen in the One Chicago crossover. I think that if the producers/scenarist want to get rid of one of the characters they wouldn't spend lots of time on building something to eventually turn it into dust. Right? At least I hope so.

The real question is not whether he lives, we know he will, but that Jay searched the guy for a weapon where did she get the gun....

Jay is good police he will put his life in danger to save others life. That's why he going through the pain he in he was saving him and that woman life.

I liked how Jay got shot like that and how he was wheezing and coughing and I was scared but I don't want him to die because it's like I love him.

How is possible that the Haley can through of this hole in the wall? Is very small 😬😳😲 The Haley's face after find Jay is memorable 🥺. I understand why Angela shotted in Jay, she was feeling many angry after Jay's confession, but I think that is infair because he tried help her in many situations to try to reverse the mistake that the facial recognition software generated and all that happened after this. I think that Jay will not gonna die. I'm anxious for next episode 🤩.

This is going to be a long long wait...😞

This episode was so intense from the start to the finish with Jay already being knocked out & injured then to being kidnapped & taken hostage by these dang drug dealers , to Hank & the rest of the team worried & searching frantically to find & rescue Jay in time , to Jay trying to escape & take out these dude's by himself which Jay actually eventually did escaped & take out both of the drug dealers , only to end up being shot & his life In danger again all because of a very bad woman who he was actually trying to help . Poor Jay This stinks so bad , really bad ! But i have to say even though the ending is sad . This episode wasn't it was an amazing episode and i can not wait until Jan 8th . I could be wrong but i honestly think if Jay would've stayed with Hailey & hadn't went back down the steps to help that bad woman then I honestly think he probably wouldn't of ended up getting shot. I could be wrong but that's what i think. But hopefully Jay will survive ( I have a good feeling that he will)

yeah he definitely would survive if he stayed with Hailey but also we know what kind of person he is so it wasn't surprising either, he always cares for other people more than for himself even if they are complete strangers and that's one of the reasons we love him

He doesn't always get held hostage this is only the 2nd time in nearly 7 seasons that he's been kidnapped as far as I'm concerned that's not to bad of a record. And everyone says that Jay seems to be the only one that always gets in trouble that's not true i'v been catching up on this show over the past couple wks after I missed several episodes over the past year /half and guess what people I have seen the rest of the team get in trouble quit offten so Jay isn't the only one on the show that is always in trouble the rest of the team has had there fair share of being in trouble also not just Halstead.
