Fun fact: they make this short history not to tell there is gonna have UP 2 but to make a final memory before they end Up forever, they will not make more UP stuff after this 😢
what i love is thart after the movie and yes his wife did die, carl regained hope and enjoyed the remaining years he had with his new dog and enjoy life

Awesome but sad without Ed Asner
I have 2 dogs who aren't afraid of fireworks literally sassy barely even acknowledges them me and dad were going to go outside to watch and listen at the fireworks not planning on letting her out cause we knew she was going to be afraid every dog we ever had was afraid of them but her as soon as the first went off we thought she would come running nope she just looked in the direction and then went off to sniff surprising us both and now we have another he's just like her calmly sits without acting like he's going to run away we haven't taken them to an actual show our small airport does every 4th of July it's near us but far away to test to see how either would take to be up and close Marley our third these last few years has actually not gone to hide or lay on his bed though he does shake used to be he would hide under anything

In a way the two do align plot wise, both senior citizens lost their wives while they were in their prime. Carl made his original house mobile via balloons, Russel even thought that Ellie was the house at one point. Mr. Nebbercracker’s house is full on possessed and it’s indeed his wife, Constance, she literally used two trees as arms. So i do see a slight connection.
