This is EXACTLY what I was about to say. All studies and basic animal training proves this over and over. This cats have assocated fights with food. Why the hell would they stop??? loloolol. And human thinks they are smarter than animals..SUUUURRRE.

They started it by rewarding the cats for their aggression. Now they just playact to get treats. Very clever kitties.

They are like those two little old ladies/men who live next door to each other in a television show! They don’t even know why they are arguing, but someone gives them attention, so they just keep on doing it. In this case, they get food when they fight. I can just hear them talking: Orange Cat:”Here She comes, You start the fight this time.” White Cat: “You have fat ugly paws!🐾 “ Orange Cat: “That’s harsh!” 😂😂😂

Cats do not argue, but they assert their territory between the two males. Afterwards if you adopt two cats of the same sex, don't be surprised who fights between them. 😆😮‍💨

You may think you are breaking up an argument, but you are training them to argue by giving them a reward when they do. Now you have the slightly harder task of training them to get along. You have to break the first training. You will have to start by giving a treat separately when they are doing nothing. Later if they argue, put each one in a room by itself for 5-10 minutes. If they continue the argument after they are let out, back they go to their separate rooms. If they do not argue next time, give the treat. And on and on. Good luck. Such vocal cats are worth saving. 😻😻

Nah, body language and behavior like that can't be faked in cats. They have some sort of genuine rivalry that's probably triggered by each other's smells.

When I was almost 9 years old my family adopted our 1st cat in mid July 1979. He was a stray cat. He wasn’t liked these 2 cats. When we adopted our 2nd stray cat. He was very sweet and friendly towards us. Both cats became friends instantly. 1st cat was so laid back with our 2nd cat. They never meowed or howled or even growled at each other. Both cats were red tabbies. They were also both sweet and friendly cats in a different way. I do missed them.
