I mean he can through the child he raised. Not saying she’s right but if he raised the kid, invested in him… what’s the difference between saying this with an adopted kid? She’s wrong but the kids are technically HIS. He can still pass on what he’s earned and raised and make it positive for himself.

Yeah but if she doesn't want one sometimes they need to take blood it should be a choice for the woman, if she doesn't want to get one, because honestly, just because he got cheated on and his kids turned it out, not to be here as it doesn't mean every woman should have to suffer and have to get a paternity test. It doesn’t need to be law at all. If a man ever wants a dna test he’s welcome to it. Nothing stopped him from ever getting one except not thinking it was ever necessary. That’s his wife and his bad. The law has nothing to do with betrayal.

Paternity should be proven before a father's name is added to a birth certificate and in the case of a non biological father wanting to be added to the birth certificate he needs to apply to formally adopt the child. Paternity fraud is one of the easiest crimes to get away with and the law doesn't do anything to prevent it.

Mandatory paternity tests is my vote 🙋🏽‍♀️. A child born to a married couple is LAWFULLY the child of the husband (in the U.S.) unless scientifically proven otherwise. I appreciate the aim at discretion of that law but it’s antiquated. Let people deal with their decisions instead of giving them legal loopholes to deceive others. It’s 2024.

What’s even more sad and scary is that the court system ALWAYS comfort and protect the women doing this

That is just trifling as hell. 51 years gone, and now he's gotta get a divorce. Why do people do this? Stop having multiple partners at the same time, and you'll know who the father is.

My mom said she knew a family growing up where the father was denying the fifth child which was the last born child in that family. He denied the son because he did not look like the other 4 siblings because he was a bit darker in complexion only to find out that that is his only child out of all the children. So the first 4 weren't his. The other story i know of is one ive seen on TV where the husband was suspicious that the wife is cheating so they found her with a man who lived in the same street. The cameras ambushed them in the house. That man and the lady had a 22 year old son if i remember correctly and the man was telling the presenter that he had been in a relationship with that lady for years and they have a son together. When they showed the son he looked IDENTICAL to that man😂. The husband was short and the son was very tall like that man and the looked alike. The son didn't know that the neighbor was his father but said that his friends would say he looks like that man (the neighbor). Im still shocked that the husband didn't see it because they live close to one another.

This poor man. She didn’t tell him the truth because she had a standup man who took care of her and the children. I mean he was their father in the sense he was the one who supported and raised them. Since the two sons are “deadbeats” he doesn’t want to claim them, but if it was what he wanted he could still be their father DNA aside. There are plenty of men who stepped up for children when the biological father did not and it makes them no less a father. Obviously that’s not this situation and the woman is an evil person to hold that secret all these years.

That woman should be put in jail and throw the key away

Mandatory tests should be a thing…I have 2 sons and I already let them know that if any babies come up in here, they getting tested. Period. A woman knows the baby is hers but men just gotta take their word for it…they should have the right to know and be just as sure…. True. A lot of men don’t find out until they are divorcing or something along those lines. Sometimes they still get stuck paying child support despite them being lied to for years just because the child was born during the marriage and the husband signed the birth certificate. The birth certificate was signed under false pretenses and should be null and void.

When I was young, I mean like before 10 years old, I used to watch episodes of Parenty Court and with all of the men not being the fathers, I always thought, "Why don't people get DNA Test when the baby is born." Because for me personally, if I was in that position, I wouldn't want to be told that I am the father. I would want to know that I am the father. So I asked some of these girls that I knew in school at the time who have divorced parents and some half siblings and some of my cousins who are divorced and when I asked them that they started berating me asking things like, "A woman's intuition is always right!" Or "Trust women!" And things like that, like it was a crime against humanity to ask that because it was "distaining women," but now people are taking DNA Test as a mandatory thing. It is what it is.

He should be able to sue her for all of the money he's spent on someone else's bastard children and the disease she could have subjected him to. Smh

I think Paternity tests for new borns should be done as it would help both men who have doubt and those who use it as an excuse to do nothing for their children. No one wants to waste their time putting time, emotions and effort into anything they haven't chosen to do or been conned into. Maybe also Lie detectors for all men who pretend they are faithful whilst having 5/10 other women pregnant at the same time. That's also an unwilling time waste and emotionally hurtful con. Both would keep both partners on an equal truthful level to begin with. All this Emotional Scamming needs to STOP.

That doesn’t even make sense. You can’t stay married for kids before they even exist so that can’t be the reason she cheated. It’s weird to try to blame him for her infidelity. There is no excuse for her behavior. If she was unhappy in the relationship she could have left instead of cheating with multiple people and pinning the kids on this man. She had to know they might not be his. The two sons come from different men and are only two years apart, so she was likely just sleeping around. She lied because she knew she had a man who was likely to be successful as he was either a lawyer or in law school. She also probably knew his character and that he would take care of her and the children. But it is unfair to give her a pass for lying to this man for 51 years because she might of felt something was off in the relationship.

@@NurseKayP first I never blamed him for anything . secondly he did state that "he stayed for the kids" look at the video at that point he obviously felted differently in the relationship if you're staying for kids. And staying for kids never really works out because you're not in love with the person at that point anymore That's all I stated.

My goodness I feel so bad for this man. However, men have more power and control when involving law and politics. They can change this. Married for 8 years before she got pregnant. Then had another kid about a year and a half later and that was it. Using that, it makes sense why he never thought they werent his. What i wanted to speak on here were some people in those comments even once speculating that he may not have been a good father because he called his sons deadbeats? What great leaps of logic did you have to make to land on that nonsense? Those kids could have grown up to be either bad people or bad sons, or bad dads. Who knows? You have no idea what he could have been inferring to with the deadbeat comments. He could have just been pissed and calling them that. They do anything to paint the man in a bad light, when the story should be on the terrible mother. This is why things like forever alimony and paying for a kid that isn’t yours just because the kid recognizes you as their father, are completely insane laws.

Well this is because a lot of men protested being tested for STDs and four paternity test not to be performed before marriage. They said it was a violation of privacy so men kind of brought this on themselves. I know in Virginia we used to have it that you had to take blood test before getting married and if there were any outside children you had to validate them before the marriage which mean you had to take a DNA test. Well like I said they challenge that and it was considered a violation of privacy. So a lot of these men brought that on theirselves. Not that she was right for doing that but we only here on one side of the story as well.

Not that I am making excuses for her. But he said they've been married 51 years. The eldest kid is 42. That means 9 yrs of looking for a child. Which means she probably stepped out, out of desperation of wanting a child and not wanting a divorce, also to check if it was her fault. She should have come clean at some point within the 42 years. That was cruel.
