Ive Loved and followed AFT since the 70s. Saw them at Louisville Downs Horse track. I was maybe 5 or 6. I'm glad ro see the up sweep of interest past 8 or so years.

Why do the Singles use a front fender while the Twins don't?

SanFranciscoBay this is a question so many of us have wondered. I took my mine off. Screw traditions or (more likely) AFT rules for the pros lol.

@@erikmhartley singles go slower w/less experienced riders. Slower moving tires cake and sling more dirt that new riders aren't used to. Twins do it to reduce any Wt. and with twins tires spinning faster. Dirt fly's off at track level vs in the air with slower rotating wheel.

8 laps??? They've raced on way worse surfaces than this one. In fact, it looked baby a$$ smooth!! Damn at least give us 10.

The championship was already wrapped up, no reason to get more people hurt. Especially after the previous race before with Monaco at a similar track.

britains ollie brindley was seriouslly hurt and will never be 100 percent are you ok with that? the race was pathetic the track a disgrace and should have been cancelled but why worry if someone is seriouslly hurt the show must go on the ama are useless.

Ha! correct me if i'm wrong, but when rider #14 jumped the start and was sent to the back, @ 35:26 you can see that he gives the finger to the guy(s) in the infield because he got all butt hurt, awh... So much for your "speech" about being the guy people look up to right? That is soo funny, of course Indian may not think so

So thankful AFT still has a traditional points championship unlike NASCAR's current day travesty.

What the heck NBCSN?!? So you’ll talk about how Daniels and Texter were able to make the main after their crash, but there’s not a word of the third rider in the crash, Oliver Brindley????? The poor kid has brain injuries and has been in a coma for a while, and you won’t say a word about him? Nothing like, “Oliver Brindley was also involved in the accident, and he unfortunately had to be taken to a hospital after a horrendous high side. Our thought and prayers are with him and his family as we wish him a speedy recovery.”? You couldn’t spare fifteen seconds to say that, you’d just instead hope that people forget that he was a rider? Shameful.

ollie is still being treated for his injuries today that track was downright dangerous and not prepared the ama sucks big time unless you are invited to their after race partys.

The Main, an 8 laps why bother event... pretty sad, it is as if AFT does not want to work anymore, just call it a night and corporate party the sponsors money away.

Yeah, a glorified Trophy Dash, I bet the fans were happy since they did not get their monies worth... maybe if AFT let fans in to see the timing and practice laps, but NOOOOOO, AFT only lets fans in half way through the heats...

I really wish-especially a sponsored rider of the bike-folks would learn to pronounce it "Husqvarna", not "Husq-A-varna"

@Dennis Walker because the track ain't flat, it is more like gravel track they have in speedway racing.

@Dennis Walker It is not just my opinion that the track preparation at Meadowlands Mile this year was poor. It looked very different from Dixie Speedway for example. I guess what you call it depends on the type of motorcycles used and not the surface they are riding on. What I saw here reminded me of the type of loose gravel they have on motorcycle speedways in Poland, it is called żużel.

Richelle Barnes Perhaps you could take your Fat Ass to the track and show everyone your incredible Bike riding talent instead of hiding behind a computer and posting hate and ignorance. I doubt you are capable of turning left.
