I discovered Afrojack right when this song came out, I remeber watching Step Up Movie back then with my sister, we fell in love with Afrojack’s music in a sec. We were too little to go to a festival, but we watched his sets at festivals on YT. Now we r grown women, traveling the festivals around the world and we stiill cry everytime we see Afrojack and hear this song, haha

I put on a 2010s playlist. This song then came up while I was assessing students' papers for work. I suddenly got transported back to myself from 7-8 years ago, watching a university promotional campaign for college-bound high school seniors... They had the song played while student organizations gave a sneak peek of what they do. I was an eager teenager then, excited and very much hopeful what "college" was going to be like. Now I'm not as eager, but still hopeful. It's crazy how time flies, and it's even crazier how songs throw you back to the past. And this song is one of them. 👌
