Why do people hate on Martin so much? The song is great and is made equally by both artists, both Afrojack and Martin Garrix are very talented producers and just because Martin is younger doesn't mean he's not as capable. If you don't like their music, don't listen to it.

I dont hate martin garrix, as an artist he has put out some great tracks. But compare this to proxy, wizards etc its complete shit. Without even comparing its just shit. Weak production, cheap synths, nothing special about the melody...

Grande Afrojack y GRX en su nueva producción, cada año nos deslumbran más, sobre todo el jovencísimo Garrix de 18 años, su última producción ésta. Canción de estilo Electro-House y algo de Big-Room; tiene una energía muy propia a lo que se asemeja de GRX. El segundo drop es muy relevante ya que es un poco más rítmico y los Breaks, muy melódicos y progresivos, con un sonido muy característico tanto de uno como de otro, una unión entre sus dos estilos transformada en una pequeña melodía de Break. El primer drop es un poco repetitivo y en este caso queda un poco mal. La melodía de la canción es muy buena, tonos buenos y con los Breaks queda muy bien. Pero en general es un temazo la canción, me encanta!

REASONS WHY THIS SONG IS A SHIT - Badly mastered (maybe just a parametric equalizer on the master) - Intro is too "dry" (I mean that the intro is not powerful enough to create the concept of "good intro") - Same as above with build-up (The melody is very cool, but there should have been a part where it´s only claps and a lot of wasped, unison-ed saws with reverb and a little delay so it sounds as "noisy" as a lot of ravers like) - The drop, oh the drop (I´ll try to explain here: In songs like Alpharock - Drop The Guns, there is a powerful and "threatening" melody based in a strong and direct synth and a mindblowing bassdrum. In this one, all you get is a weird soft waspy and "vibrato-ed" lead with a shortened trap-ish bassdrum mixed up with a normal kick. That can´t embolden anyone, and ravers hate that).

Now you mentioned it, the drop does remind me of Rock the House and Jack that Body with an Arabian-inspired tune in it, but that's just me and my perception of it. The rest are to Garrix. Nevertheless, I'm loving this track, especially if I'm listening to it with my headphones, the drop bangs my ears like it was a real festival! :D
