Sorry for this discrimination from rest of the india because so many people don't know about our Northeast india. Because there should be a lesson in the class rooms to know about our northeast india. There are so many uneducated people in our society they never been visited our northeast. Because your complexions looks like Chinese thats way they think like this. You know one I am from South india in our South 50% people looks like Africans. But we are not African. I hope you can understand

We the people of NEI know all the states and the people and their cultures but the people of other states outside NEI excluding West Bengal do not know anything about the people and their cultures because the children are not taught about Indian geography, the states and the people in their schools. But here in NEI we are taught about Indian geography, regional geography of India,etc, from the lower primary classes.That is the reason why most of the people, young and old, of the mainland India do not know about NEI.

We don't have communication problem with other because maximum people can speak Hindi, or can say broken Hindi and almost everyone can understand Hindi language.

North_East India we call seven sister, seven sister is like 1) Assam-Capital city is Dispur/Guwahati, 2) Meghalaya-Capital city is Shilong, 3) Manipur-Capital city is Imphal, 4) Nagaland-Capital city is Kohima, 5) Mizoram-Capital city is Aizwal, 6) Tripura- Capital city is Agartala, 7) Arunachal Prades-Capital city is Itanagar that's it. Then few years ago has joined another one state. The state name is Sikkim-Capital city is Gangtak now will be eight sister total in north-east India.
