The song title is a play on the title of British hard rock band Motorhead's 1981 live album, No Sleep 'til Hammersmith, which references London's famed Hammersmith Odeon venue as signifying the home to which the band will return from their tour (and/or "making it big"?). The Beasties archly substitute Brooklyn as their home (even though two of them grew up in Manhattan).

Hi Fay, thank you. That's fucking awesome. They're all idiots (maybe they're just acting), but whoever developed the sound is a genius.
I think as a traveling group and heading back home, they decided to party all the way back. They were quite the artists back then. Mixing rap with rock in this sound was genius. Another song mixing rap and rock was the Aerosmith/Run DMC video, "Walk This Way!" 🎸
Nostalgia keeps driving people back but even the band had started trying to distance itself from this Fratboy crap in recent years. Changing lyrics or just not performing most songs from this record. They grew enough to be embarrassed about who they were. That's why they're legends.
