Lemon & Herb in South Africa refers to the level of heat...not an intense, distinct lemony zest flavour - majority of South Africans enjoy savoury spice as a base, not citrusy, lemony or fruit flavours. Nando's is just soooo, soooo good! But Pedro's is growing in popularity because the price is right 🙌🏼 Thanks for sharing!

I just found out an African American man from Chicago moved to South Africa and opened a lounge called zurii Lounge kitchen and bar in Greenside, Randburg, Johannesburg. He said he want it to be the South African x African American meet up. Laid back vibes. Maybe check that out. ❤

The fried one looks soooo delicious! But I know nandos it’s really good!

You left out my home province chicken franchise restaurant, Galitos from Mpumalanga the place were the sun rises from, Lol There are informal chicken restaurants in the Townships besides the big brands, you must try some and compare too

Try maboneng precinct or braamfontein playground market for good food

Nandos has competition now, finally! They are costly
