I am glad to see that you have a good riding jacket and pants. Cordura nylon? Good safety clothes , gloves and helmet is a lot less expensive than any stay in the hospital.

just bought a black 2003, doing a few bits to it - crash bars and will be doing a big strip down and clean, tidy up. Yours looks grear.

Hi Carolin. Greetings from England. I only found your videos this weekend. I have watched a few of them already and enjoyed them very much, even though I don’t speak much German! I particularly enjoyed the off-road training sessions. This one in English was a bonus for me. I also have an RD07A. It is a 2000 model, the same colours as yours with just under 50,000 km. I look forward to following your adventures. Have fun and don’t fall off too much.

Hello from Ireland! Brilliant review! If you're changing the fuel pump I recommend Facet pumps. I switched to one after my original failed. Also, for sprocket changes stick to OEM (or check out Superpinion) as the output shaft can be damaged otherwise. I have the same bike, same colours, and love it!

Hi caro, i'm a french owner of a RD04, What a nice bike, not the fastest, not the lighest, but able to carry you everywhere. Maybe the best bike i ever had. Compare to the price, the Transalp is maybe a little bit more valuable, but it's not "The Queen of the desert". Ride safe and thx for your videos.

Are you sure the dry weigh is 240 kg? I have looking the technical specifications and it say that it weighs 207 kg without liquids. I'm about to buy a 1998 model As an spaniard learner of English I understand everything you say so cleary. Greeting from Tenerife

@@CaroUnterwegs German school Saturdays for 3 years in die Deutche Geminde Gottes,Toronto, the school was fun the religion not so much.
