2020+ have the same filter. 2017-2019 are different.

Great video as usual, but to be honest, air filter access shouldn't be so time consuming on an ADV bike.

Nice vid. I tried this once just for fun while I had the plastics off installing lights, and it was hard enough to get the filter housing apart I gave up and juat put the screws back in.

Hi, Remove the windscreen, remove the socket bolts, it's 2 of them on the tip top, lastly there is a tab at the bottom tip by the center of the headlight. Good luck 😀👍

Hello. Very good video and helpful. But I have Africa Twin Adventure Sport 2018 and also with a HEED crash bunker. What do you think or maybe know for sure whether it is possible to replace the air filter without removing the hopper on this model. I looked that the distance seems to allow. I want to try, but I'm afraid because not a mechanic but a doctor 🤣

If you are an orthopedic surgeon you will be fine, orthos are more mechanics than doctors 🤣🤣. Jokes a side the removal is similar but the side panels are bigger and extend further forward. I think you should give it a try. Good luck my friend 🤞😀👍

2 air filters, exactly the same process for both sides. Why would he show the exact same thing twice?

About 3000 times easier than a multistrada.

Could have just shown how the cover is removed 😒.

so far not impressed by honda 'quality and reliability' they leak, or burn oil and are a huge pita to work on...

Now try doing all that after an eight hour day of riding off road within a say with in a 5-7 day trip...great...thanx Honda for a crappy air box design. These are supposed to be adventure bikes right? A few days in a row of dusty conditions you will need to replace or clean that filter or suffer the consequences. Most manufacturers are redesigning their air boxes because this....but not Honda.

New Suzuki 800 is a 10 min job to change the air filter.
