AFN Europe news package about veterinarians and animal care specialists from US Army Public Health Activity Italy, who are based in Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey and the UK, visiting and getting a behind the scenes tour of the Hyde Park Barracks where the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment maintains horses.

The mounts of the Household Cavalry have a great life, better than many humans!! If you like their mounts see them at play (You Tube ; "Household Cavalry at Holkham Beach" ) during one of their two official 1 week vacations each year in Norfolk at their nearby Holiday Camp. The mounts even have their own Retirement Homes /Stables when their Army career is over. They die (eventually) of old age.

Why do you use a made-up name instead of the proper ones? The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment is made up of two Regiments, The Blues and Royals and The Life Guards, any of those will do or you could just say The Household Cavalry. ‘The British Kings Cavalry’ is a nonsense term, it doesn’t exist.

he was close to Royalty already through his family so was hers. her father was also a senior Army officer.

they are NOT the kings lifeguards they are the blues and royals what eust to be calld the royal horse guards when i was in the life guards the life guards ware scarlet tunics not blue ones

@@majorlaff8682 True the spelling is wrong, but the intention behind their comment was correct, the Blues and Royals and the Lifeguards are the two horse guards regiments and while they have a good working relationship they dislike being misidentified as the other.

@@christinalogan311 There's nothing rude about expecting reasonable, accurate communication. 'Rude' and 'racist' are often used by people who have nothing worthwhile to say so they just yell abuse at the person making a comment. Try explaining what is rude about my comment.
