AFN, Ottawa finalize 10-year, $47.8-billion deal on child welfare reform

The Assembly of First Nations and the federal government finalized a $47.8-billion deal with Ottawa to reform child-welfare programs over the next 10 years. National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak says it's above and beyond what the federal government first promised. (July 11, 2024)
