Afghani refugees give me free food in Delhi 🇮🇳

Support the channel and buy my ultimate Desi Delhi food guide here: maxmcfarlin.gumroad.com/l/24h... 🇮🇳 After a day exploring Lajpat Nagar, I decided to head back to a street/market in the area I had been to on my last trip in Delhi, but never really explored properly. This place just next to Kisturba Niketan complex is home to a large Afghani community, mostly refugees, who have set up a range of businesses, street carts, and shops in the area.
I decided this time to go and try the food, and the first thing that caught my eye was a small cart with "Special Afghani Burger written on it". I walked up the and the man was super friendly. He immediately smiled and was happy to tell me about his shop and life.
I opted to go for his mutton burger, which was ₹100, or roughly $1.21 USD. The burger has a bunch of unique toppings, including salad, egg, mutton pieces, and even french fries! It's all topped off with a unique sour and spicy sauce and wrapped in a shawarma/pita bread style Afghani bread rapper. Really good.
After the burger I checked out some of the other carts next to the burger place selling random goods such as nuts, raisins, and saffron, all from Afghanistan. I decided to buy some of the stuff in support.
Of course, camera credit to the best Afghani cameraman Mr. Nisar :)
