I am raised in a shia family and I understand why she is trying to deny the right path. Denying the beliefs that you have learned from your family is painful. But you should do it for the sake of your love for Allah swt and your own hereafter. I was born and raised in Iran, misguided by the Shias like this sister. When i came to the west i had to go to a Sunni mosque for jummah and i was shocked when I heard the name of Ali, Hassan and Hussain in the Khutbah. We were brainwashed into thinking Sunnis hate Ali and ahlul bait. Shia'ism is based on hate and mourning all the time. It's such a dark and depressing religion. Alhamdulillah for the beautiful Sunnah.

A'isha did not initiate a war, she was woken up and told that the armies have gone to fight against the army of Ali. She went to the battle field to see what is going on. Then she started to make dua to Allah so that they do not begin fighting. A soldier reported to Ali that A'isha is making dua that the fighting should not break out, so Ali began making dua that fighting does not break out. When the fighting started, A'isha instructed both the companians Talha and Zubair to not draw their swords, and they did not and they were killed by the opposing army. These are serious accusations and defamation about the beloved companions and wife of the prophet peace be upon him. May allah guide you and remove misdirected hatred from your heart and seek truth in Islam. Ameen. If you are sincere I can email you the historical accounts of the 'The battle of the Camel'. May allah guide us all to the truth Ameen.

😮 I learned so much from her. I started researching Islam in 2008. I was looking for why muslims were so horrible. My mainstream southern churches both gave sermons about how they r@pe everybody, even children and men. I left both churches freaked out at how humans could do what they said they did. After extensive research and reading multiple translations of Quran in English, I could find zero evil in Islam. I knew I was already Muslim and I reverted in 2011. After I reverted, I did a little research about Shia, out of curiosity, but immediately found some issues. I never imagined it was as shockingly different from Sunni. For me, it is like a denomination in Christianity, such as Mormons, Johovah Witness, or Seventh Day Adventist, etc...they're different but best left to their devices 😂 I had NO IDEA Shia seem farther from Islam than Christianity is. 😮 Maybe Shia started as a political power movement. It has features of "special chosen one" denominations like Mormons with their magic underwear. 🤫 I knew as a Christian that no group was chosen simply by being a certain sect or denomination. I know the same as a Muslim. "...All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a White has no superiority over a Black nor a Black has any superiority over a White except by piety" ~Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) 632 CE I'll stay in my lane and keep learning my religion. @@syedbaqir2687 The Shias call on other than God (mainly Ali and al-Hussein) and supplicate to other than God. They venerate the graves and perform tawaf around them and take them as a qibla. They seek blessings from the dirt of Karbala (al-Hussein called it Karb wa Bala, which means anguish and plague) because they believe that it contains the grave of al-Hussein. They place that dirt in front of them in prayer and also eat from it because they believe that it gives healing and blessings. And other kinds of polytheism and immorality. All of this is polytheism and a distortion of the religion of Islam. And it is all found in their certified books. God almighty said: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدِ افْتَرَىٰ إِثْمًا عَظِيمًا "Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating others with Him ˹in worship˺, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And whoever associates others with Allah has indeed committed a grave sin." Quran 4:48 As for those who say, “We don't take Ali and al-Hussein as idols, but we take them as a means to bring us closer to Allah.” These are exactly the same words that were said by the idol worshipers, whom God almighty mentioned in the Quran: وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَا إِلَى اللَّهِ زُلْفَىٰ "As for those who take other lords besides Him, ˹saying,˺ “We worship them only so they may bring us closer to Allah,” surely Allah will judge between all" Quran 39:3 There is a huge similarity between the idol worshipers mentioned by Allah and the Shias who seek help from other than Allah in supplication. They both believe that this polytheism brings them closer to Allah. Supplication is worship, as stated in the hadith of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. He said: (Supplication (du'a') is itself the worship. (He then recited:) "And your Lord said: Call on Me, I will answer you" [Qur'an 40:60]) Narrated by Ahmad in al-Musnad, and al-Bukhari in al-Adab al-Mufrad. God Almighty said: إِنَّهُ مَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَأْوَاهُ النَّارُ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ "Whoever associates others with Allah ˹in worship˺ will surely be forbidden Paradise by Allah. Their home will be the Fire. And the wrongdoers will have no helpers." Quran 5:72 وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ Your Lord has proclaimed, “Call upon Me, I will respond to you. Surely those who are too proud to worship Me will enter Hell, fully humbled.” Quran 40:60 Allah said, “Call upon Me.” He did not say, “Call upon Muhammad, Ali, or al-Hussein. They are all dead and cannot benefit the living. Only Allah is ever-living and undying.” God almighty said: وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْحَىِّ ٱلَّذِى لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِۦ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًا "Put your trust in the Ever-Living, Who never dies, and glorify His praises. Sufficient is He as All-Aware of the sins of His servants." Quran 25:58 وَمَا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَحْيَآءُ وَلَا ٱلْأَمْوَٰتُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَن يَشَآءُ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُسْمِعٍۢ مَّن فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ "And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah ˹alone˺ makes whoever He wills hear, but you cannot make hear those in the graves." Quran 35:22 God described those who take others as equals to Him as unjust and threatened them with severe punishment: وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَندَادًۭا يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَشَدُّ حُبًّۭا لِّلَّهِ ۗ وَلَوْ يَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ إِذْ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْعَذَابَ أَنَّ ٱلْقُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًۭا وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعَذَابِ "Still there are some who take others as Allah’s equal-they love them as they should love Allah-but the ˹true˺ believers love Allah even more. If only the wrongdoers could see the ˹horrible˺ punishment ˹awaiting them˺, they would certainly realize that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is indeed severe in punishment." Quran 2:165 I advise that you go back to the Quran and the Sunnah (sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him). May Allah guide you.

Oh I thought most of the muslims in Iran are Shia, because here in Iraq, the Shia are more than Sunnah, so I thought it is the same In Iran or even maybe more Shia

When I reverted to Islam I didn’t even know there were sects like Shi’ism and Sunni. I ended up following Sunni practices and every time I’d ask my friends about Shi’ism they’d tell me they’re misguided, I’ve come across Shia social platforms and they were very hostile against the sahaba and the Prophets saw wife Aisha RA, arguing in the comments etc etc. I eventually was invited to join a Shia woman’s group on instagram. I learned some interesting things and Islamic history from their point of view but I could not bare listening to some of the insults and it got awkward when I would point out contradictions in things they spoke about. Astaghfirullahh they will hold entire lectures slandering Aisha RA 😭

I'm from Afghanistan Kabul. I was raised with little Islam even though my family where sunni. In my teens I got more interested in my Deen. I always knew that Shi'a was not the right path especially when I would see some Shi'a members hit themselves and call for Ali R.A for help. I didn't know about 12 infallible imams but I am researching I found this out. Even though I don't speak Arabic and I'm not an arab. I know where I get my Qur'an, it's translation and tafseer. Non of these talk about Shi'a imams or anything. People in my country don't know a lot of Arabic so whatever Iran tells them, they believe. I pray that Allah guides the sister and all Muslims.

Your argument is weak, many things are not teached through Quran, doesnt mean its wrong. Thats why you have the Sunna. For example, in the end of times, both shia and sunni believe in the arrival of Al Mahdi and Isa (as). But you cant find it in the holy Quran. Still its considered to be a main fundament of the religion to believe in the end of time with the arrival of those personalities. What do you say about that?

For example, in the grave you will be asked about Ali ibn Abi Talib and you are supposed to say he is your friend, there is much more explanation than a friend. And If you don't then you'd be in a big trouble, there is much more to be said here. *Just like council of nicaea mixed roman paganism with Christianity, Ismail1/safavid dynasty mixed persian paganism with this shia beliefs. As a Sunni, Afghan-American, I love watching your channel and I have learned so much. I don’t know any Shia afghans personally but I have gone to a Shia mosque once as a child after being invited by our Iranian family friend. I was quite traumatized when I witnessed the women crying and hitting themselves violently, my mom kept assuring me that this is what they believe and they do this to punish themselves for the death of Ali. (We were obviously not participating in what they were doing since it is against our deen.) That night was my only Shia “practice”encounter. I knew in my heart even then, that it was wrong even before my parents teaching me about the differences in their beliefs vs. Sunni. May Allah SWT guide her.

I knew a lady whose son became Muslim and she was so upset and filled with hatred. she would complain to the shop-keeper near her flat. She did this everyday and they would bring her a chair and make her tea. She didn't know for ages that they were Muslim. It took her about twenty years to accept Islam and the family held a special place because of how they took her abusive and islamaphobic rants and showed her compassion and kindness.

I am very new to your channel but I am so Impressed by your poise, intelligence and dedication to having fruitful conversations. Masha Allah ta baraak Allah. Maya Allah continue to bless you in shaa Allah in your good work.

@@GTari-ob6bj Unfortunately there are no real statistics about their number. Different sources will tell you differently. The number is probably somewhere between 12- 20%. What’s certain is that it’s a minority of the population. They mostly belong to the Hazara ethnicity or for example the people of Herat, a province on the border of Iran.

SubhanAllah, this shows how the people fight within themselves when they are shown they have been wrong, maybe their whole life.

I have a friend who is shia . We have been friends for 13 years , infact she is my best friend and i love her. She is such a good person and follows what they consider to be islam . I always pray to Allah swt to guide to the right path . I feel so bad for her, never once i have heard her talking about the quran , she always reads " nahjul balagha" or something . Everytime she falls or anything she says" ya ali ya ali ". I keep praying for her . She and her husband have just gotten a job in saudi and i have seen so may of my barelwi friends turnig to the right path . I hope she changes her views as well.

I have a best friend who is shia for many years. I told her the hadith science used by ahlul sunnah is superior because the narrators lived in the prophets time whereas not all the imams lived in the prophets time or the people who narrate their hadiths or explain it. I also tell her we wouldn't have the Quran without the first companions and their efforts and our nations would be idol worshippers. I also explained why its shirk to make intentions for salah for hussein or fatima. Through these conversations i have made her doubt alot of things and shes been investigating into them. I hope Allah guides her and makes me useful in dawah. These videos have helped me alot. I remain her friend and I will befriend anyone whilst I live in these non Muslim lands but I always have an intention to do dawah when the opportunity arises, even if gently. May Allah guide our friends and family to ahlul Sunnah.

The quran also doesn't talk about many things. Like every detail in hajj. The quran doesn't talk about it. The prophet Peace be upon him and his family taught the muslims. Not everything is in quran. For example the sunnah does talk about 12 princes (imams in other words): Al-Bukhari narrated in his Sahih, in the chapter on succession from the Book of Rules, on the authority of Jabir bin Samra, who said: I heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: There will be twelve princes. He said a word I did not hear. My father said: He said: They are all from Quraysh.

Honestly. I believe both Sunnis and Shias are corrupted. We should make another sect called “Submitters” where we focus on the Quran’s teachings instead of fake Hadiths and Sunnah. Also, we must remove Muhammad’s (PBUH) name from the shahada. The Quran only said La ilaha il-Allah. It never said “Muhammad Al rasul-Allah” idk why we add this to the Shahada, it is almost like shirk. We also should remove Muhammad’s PBUH name from the Athan as the Mosque should not be associated with anybody other than Allah SWT.

there are 3 main waves of deception in shiasm i know of. - ibn saba the neo paul said Ali is a god and pushed division like paul did, then Hasan united them. Ali toast the she'a who said he's god too! 2nd wave when she'as who did tukkeaya and weren't toasted for shirk by Ali invited Hoosain, she'as worship Husayn who did nikah with a princess from majian areas as a front to continue pre Islam majian royal worship! 3rd wave, lies on rest of ahlul bait in particularly Jafer Sadiq who said Abu Bakr gave birth 2 me twice, had a daughter named Aisha, until the 12 imam who matches the dajjal. (true origin of shia) Abu Ja’far, the 5th Shia Imam said: Abdullah Ibn Saba used to claim being a prophet and claimed that The commander of believers (i.e. Ali) is God. Allah is Higher than such claim. This news reached to The commander of believers (i.e. Ali), so he called him and questioned him. But he repeated his claim. - Rijal al-Khashshi, V.1, P.323

The Quran tests where your loyalty and love goes, some people are loyal to family or Imam, tribe, ethnicity etc.

YES Islam itself is that same test. Life is that same test. To test if we stay loyal to the commands of Allah and follow his righteous examples. Or if we take our desires as our god, or take our ancestors' beliefs as godly. Or take our ego as god, and create our own personal cherry-picked religion & rules, to try and satisfy everyone...

Yes they both elevate the mere humans to perfect being who are not anointed by Allah s.w.t and then they wonder. I think the Shias since they are majority Iranian, they therefore couldn't leave their own religion and thought processes from their big empire time.

The biggest problem with this was that the lady was not sincere from the beginning. Her general tone was one of 'I'm hear to learn as I don't know too much.' That wasn't the case as she herself mentioned her TikTok channel and she was clearly getting agitated when you 'Muhammed Ali' were answering in a very sincere way. You were very good. With that said this young lady also does not represent all Shias both in sincerity or understanding of her own faith, and not all Shia's curse the Sahaba. Contiue the great work, I'm thoroughly enjoying your videos and learning a lot.

Finding that fajr prayer is 2 Rak'ahs is like finding jesus is god in the bible too. Because there is no clear evidence in the quran about fajr having 2 Rak'ahs. You get it from the sunna. We believe in the quran and sunna. The sunna says in sahih muslim: In Sahih Muslim, it was narrated on the authority of Zaid bin Arqam as follows: “...And I am leaving among you two heavy burdens: the first of them is the Book of God, in which is guidance and light, so take hold of the Book of God and hold fast to it.” So he urged On the Book of God and desired it. Then he said, "And my household. I remind you of God regarding my household. I remind you of God regarding my household. I remind you of God regarding my household... And in musnad ahmed bin hanbal: The Prophet (PBUH) said on the day of Ghadir Khumm: “Am I not more worthy of the believers than their own selves, and my wives are their mothers?” So we said, “Yes, O Messenger of God.” He said: Whoever I am his master, then Ali is his master. O God, befriend whoever befriends him and be hostile to whoever is hostile to him. And in bukhari as well: Al-Bukhari narrated in his Sahih, in the chapter on succession from the Book of Rules, on the authority of Jabir bin Samra, who said: I heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: There will be twelve princes. He said a word I did not hear. My father said: He said: They are all from Quraysh. Seems to me that sunnah books are promoting shia twelverism.

@@syedbaqir2687 The Shias call on other than God (mainly Ali and al-Hussein) and supplicate to other than God. They venerate the graves and perform tawaf around them and take them as a qibla. They seek blessings from the dirt of Karbala (al-Hussein called it Karb wa Bala, which means anguish and plague) because they believe that it contains the grave of al-Hussein. They place that dirt in front of them in prayer and also eat from it because they believe that it gives healing and blessings. And other kinds of polytheism and immorality. *All of this is polytheism and a distortion of the religion of Islam.* And it is all found in their certified books. God almighty said: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدِ افْتَرَىٰ إِثْمًا عَظِيمًا "Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating others with Him ˹in worship˺, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And whoever associates others with Allah has indeed committed a grave sin." Quran 4:48 As for those who say, “We don't take Ali and al-Hussein as idols, but we take them as a means to bring us closer to Allah.” These are exactly the same words that were said by the idol worshipers, whom God almighty mentioned in the Quran: وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَا إِلَى اللَّهِ زُلْفَىٰ "As for those who take other lords besides Him, ˹saying,˺ “We worship them only so they may bring us closer to Allah,” surely Allah will judge between all" Quran 39:3 There is a huge similarity between the idol worshipers mentioned by Allah and the Shias who seek help from other than Allah in supplication. They both believe that this polytheism brings them closer to Allah. Supplication is worship, as stated in the hadith of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. He said: (Supplication (du'a') is itself the worship. (He then recited:) "And your Lord said: Call on Me, I will answer you" [Qur'an 40:60]) Narrated by Ahmad in al-Musnad, and al-Bukhari in al-Adab al-Mufrad. God Almighty said: إِنَّهُ مَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَأْوَاهُ النَّارُ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ "Whoever associates others with Allah ˹in worship˺ will surely be forbidden Paradise by Allah. Their home will be the Fire. And the wrongdoers will have no helpers." Quran 5:72 وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ Your Lord has proclaimed, “Call upon Me, I will respond to you. Surely those who are too proud to worship Me will enter Hell, fully humbled.” Quran 40:60 Allah said, “Call upon Me.” He did not say, “Call upon Muhammad, Ali, or al-Hussein. They are all dead and cannot benefit the living. Only Allah is ever-living and undying.” God almighty said: وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْحَىِّ ٱلَّذِى لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِۦ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًا "Put your trust in the Ever-Living, Who never dies, and glorify His praises. Sufficient is He as All-Aware of the sins of His servants." Quran 25:58 وَمَا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَحْيَآءُ وَلَا ٱلْأَمْوَٰتُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَن يَشَآءُ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُسْمِعٍۢ مَّن فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ "And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah ˹alone˺ makes whoever He wills hear, but you cannot make hear those in the graves." Quran 35:22 God described those who take others as equals to Him as unjust and threatened them with severe punishment: وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَندَادًۭا يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَشَدُّ حُبًّۭا لِّلَّهِ ۗ وَلَوْ يَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ إِذْ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْعَذَابَ أَنَّ ٱلْقُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًۭا وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعَذَابِ "Still there are some who take others as Allah’s equal-they love them as they should love Allah-but the ˹true˺ believers love Allah even more. If only the wrongdoers could see the ˹horrible˺ punishment ˹awaiting them˺, they would certainly realize that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is indeed severe in punishment." Quran 2:165 I advise that you go back to the Quran and the Sunnah (sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him). May Allah guide you.

This is good discussion. I learnt a lot about sahabat and the history of all khalifah since child, i will assume im sunni as well, but this discusion about their difference were never come to mind, even syeikh here only told there is sunni and shia, but never told what they belief, because the end of the day we all still belief Qur'an and pray to Allah.
