Affordable Quality Diver | TISSOT SEASTAR 1000 Automatic
One dosn't have to gravitate towards the high-end brands to get luxury like 80 hours of power reserve and ceramic bezel insert with a Swiss Made brand-watch. The Tissot Seastar 1000 is a good choice for a versatile Swiss Made automatic dive watch with all the desired features. It's not perfect, but see the full review to find all the plusses and minusses.

this is the best, most to the point review i have seen on of this watch. very informative and well made video!!
I just purchased this watch with the mesh bracelet. I love it. Great review.
One of the best product reviews I've ever heard and seen. Great job, my man!! Seriously wish other reviewers would study your review here and follow suit.

Thank you 🙂
Great review my man ! Im gonna buy one now. In this price range I believe its a sleeper.
Nice to watch the follow up review and that you’re enjoying it.
This is a great very accurate watch❤
Going to be honest, this was on my radar for a while; then you popped it up here two weeks ago. I bought mine, this is now my go to watch. Great watch, and I have not seen anyone else with one whilst out. Thank you.

I’m glad to hear. I’m very pleasantly surprised by the overall quality. Best regards, Anders
I think the black bezel helps a lot in seeing those silver numbers, since black absorbs light a little more than say the blue bezel. The silicium model doesn't have the matching color date wheel and no black bezel. I would love to have that movement with those negatives corrected on date wheel and bezel.
Good and comprehensive review. Nice chunky and blingy dive watch with a superb movement. I have 2 variants of this model 😎

Agreed, I've now got two, this one and the black pvd version on the black silicone strap.
I have a couple of bracelets that were originally on $90.00 Parnis watches. They have screwed pins, solid end links and milled clasps. It's about time the more expensive watches were the same,no excuses.............................
Bought it this summer. Very happy with it!

Except, now I’ve noticed that it consistently runs fast. I correct it but it goes fasst again.....

@@robertsnorrason2494 When I first got mine it ran fast too (+15 s/d). For some reason a few months later it just started running super accurate.
Pretty nice for the most part. I believe that’s called an engineer bracelet, with the 3 links. The Doxa 1500T has a similar bracelet, with 5 individual links.

Yes, it’s something like a dressy engineer bracelet. My best description is a modern jubilee-ish bracelet. Although it’s constructed like an engineer bracelet.
Good review - I'm with you on the counter weight on the seconds hand ! Not a deal breaker but a concern !

Hi Junior. I can live with it but it’s not very elegant to look at. Best regards, Anders
Truly good looking tool watch - looks really tough and toolish but also classy appropriate for everyday wear, great movement, unique interesting case design, . Like a Panerai diver- looks like a strap monster - solves the bracelet issue and adds allot of fun and versatility. Very Cool piece w great movement. Thanks you for the look at her.
Watches with Powermatic 80 movement are still reasonably priced. Try getting a Seiko with their newer 70 hour movement and see what sort of premium they are asking for.
The certina ds action is a better option for the same price. Better bracelet and divers extension
Lovely looking watch. Makes the Seiko look poor value, with 2824, sapphire, and ceramic. I like the bracelet too. Good review.

It has a Powermatic 80 not an ETA 2824. Powermatic 80 is a 3 Hz (21,600 bph) automatic. Its basically the same as a Seiko 6R35 which is also 21,600 bph and 3 Hz. Even Seiko makes better bracelets and has much better lume.
I like older version.
I have the same watch..Awesome for the money 👍
is it possible to change this metal bracelet to silicone one? seems like not possible but im not sure.

Hi Murat. Yes, that’s no problem. You can buy an aftermarket strap or you choose to buy the watch with the original silicone strap. Best regards, Anders

@@TimeAndCrown hey andres, thanks for prompt reply. I thought it was not possible to replace the bracelet with silicone due to customized connection between bracelet and watch's body. So basically that joint part is removable.

@@muratcanozkan You just buy the version with the strap. It’s the fitted and original Tissot strap.

@@TimeAndCrown i mean can i fit the silicone strap to this version of watch?
Such a shame about the pressed clasp, what were Tissot thinking of? I have watches under £100 that have milled clasps
Does Tissot have antireflectng coating?

Nice review but in my opinion the overall design and execution looks dated and tired.

Hi Chris. Thanks. And thanks for your opinion - it’s definitely not a very original design but I like the watch anyway. Best regards, Anders
