    Awesome video as always 🧡 I love watching your content. You come off like a super likeable person. As an amateur hoping to grow into paid gigs, but almost always shooting myself. Would you say that a manual cine is still an option for that scenario? Would for example shooting an interview solo with these even be possible?

    Hey hello man love your channel great content all the time, I just not sure that these lenses are a budget alternative, there are other brands like meike, mitakon(zhong yi), slr magic and they do have cinema lenses as well, at budget prices, all these brands have a really good quality for the price, maybe the vespid primes are better but are still 1,249.00 USD for one lens, I do see the value in their other option, the zooms parfocal, those are not expensive for what they offer, maybe this set of lenses can be a budget option for small studios, just saying, but for an individual I think is still out the range of many many fellows, anyway, man don't get me wrong I am just expressing my opinion, again I do like your content and I do appreciate that you take the time to make this review so we can see how good are these lenses, thanks man.

    I'm confused about the "auto focus". I see some cameras have a focus option, and lenses also control the focus. Can anyone explain to me how this work? The camera can tell the lens to focus on something, or it's the lens that determines the focus? So a lens that doesn't have auto-focus, it's only adjustable via the ring, or relies on the camera body to tell it where the focus is? And if you rely on the camera itself, does the auto-focus come into play at all? Thanks!

  • @alimstudy

    @alimstudy

    2 жыл бұрын

    ring or focus puller basically a manual focus done by machine, some still require manual tweaking. auto focus is how the camera have maybe somewhat called program or algoritm according the lens to determine the focus to the distance or subject. using adapter kinda confuse the system maybe. its like you understand how to run with normal shoes but then u use high heel something feel different and u cant run normally, the different is machine cant learn automatically after a mistake... yet.

    T2.1 you said not the fastest. I don't get it. Why does it have to do with speed? I thought it was just like F stop, the size of the aperture.

  • @Fushikatz

    @Fushikatz

    3 жыл бұрын

    T-Stops are an alternative and more accurate way of measuring the „speed“ of a lens. F-Stops measure the light that goes into the lens, while T-Stops measure what light is left at the end of the lens and actually hitting the sensor/film. Hope that helped.

    Honestly, not a review what so ever! Its like you guys all read from the same script in your "reviews"...workflow is super important to me, fits my unique style bla bla bla...All you did is explained cinema lenses to a 1st year student..Do some sharpness test across the image, do corner light on all lenses to see how it spills a cross, film at a hard backlight and check for contrast etc etc. Bokeh is not only filming at 2.1 as close as possible with couple of candles behind.
