@@MilesB my new site is up (using your suggestions), and I published my first blog this morning. The site is very basic so far, but I wanted to get the blog written and posted as the most important thing - the rest can be improved over time. My blog revolves around mindset and confidence (so far), and will likely develop hypnosis themes too (as that's where my strengths lie, and I can create my own products). Thanks for the inspiration to get started with this.

Fun story. A month or so ago I was constantly getting spammed by one of those fake guru's ads to the point I decided to click it (mainly to stop seeing the annoying ad but also because it piqued my curiosity). I joined his 'webinar' which was set up to look like it was live with lots of other people watching. Throughout the recording he kept having fake conversations with fake audience members, the whole thing was very cringey and I was honestly embarrassed for him. The irony - after about an hour of fluff, he finally explained his process, which was actually a pretty decent method. However, he had completely eroded all trust with his webinar, whereas if he was just honest and to the point like Miles, I bet he would have a much, much higher conversion rate.

Miles don't you think it is difficult for beginners to take ideas of a high difficulty niche as in your 5 min niche finder article. I also bought an online genuine course on affiliate marketing but Miles free video covered almost all the topics.

@@yaredwolde4522 None of the niches from the 5 min niche finder should be 'difficult', comparatively speaking...

One of the better (best) summary videos explaining this. Bookmarking it to keep on hand when needed. A little tip to expand on when you're collecting email leads from Facebook (or anywhere), the Thank You page after the opt-in is a great spot to highlight a targeted affiliate offer in a helpful way. If it works for the opt-in flow of course.

Why not right, you're helping the client find the thing that will serve the client best while teaching the client how to use it for best results. Hey Miles! Great content. I did finish the video and still watching other videos you've made. I'm completely new to this and I feel tiny bit lost. I'm trying to create an outline on exactly what I need to do. I did however decide my niche. My question is when I create my website can I have Amazon products links to my website that is not owned by me on Amazon? I want to start out doing the right thing. I started the crash course, im 25 working 60 a week as a welder and its barely enough to cover living expenses it shouldnt be like that man, thanks for your video i think this one has really got me motivated to do something start something online becouse as we all know a 9.5 job rarely gets you anywhere, the hard work has to be for you not the man becouse the man doesnt give a sh@# about you in most cases. Since I am not a native English speaker and the country where I live has a small population, I would like to hear your advice: should I keep improving my English and work on my blog or you would recommend me something else? I was thinking that the only way is to outsource the content but then again it requires a bigger amount of money if I need to outsource every blog post, right? I’m not an affiliate but the SEM tool just got a cool makeover.

I saw another video which I was about to click because it has 545k views but I was a bit skeptical because I have been warned of affiliate sharks. However, i decided to continue to scroll and saw your video and knew from watching your other videos that you are a trusted source.

I have been looking into affiliating marketing for over a year. I finally found a company that was charging $149.00 for the software located out of Canada unfortunately I couldn’t find them online or BBB. It’s seems like a lot of work to do myself however it’s better than getting SCAM! Glad I found your channel subscribed

All my life I have done crappy jobs for a minimum wage and stuff happened along the way: a greedy backstabbing girlfriend who spent all my money, an accident which made me lose my job, depression which turned me almost into an alcoholic and so on. So I decided to start my own business. But how do I do that? Well I saw your videos and I wrote all of the steps to set my business up down and I can't wait to do this for real and write content! Thank you for being so honest, informative and very articulate because yes I've been spammed by all kinds of gurus that tried to sell me their method like for example the so called ministry of freedom. That dude said to post demo videos online on youtube and promised that I would earn 100 $ a day. So I put some demo videos online and it did nothing because nobody found me and seriously it's just stupid.

Hi Miles, how much traffic would you want coming to your site before trying to monetize it with reviews as an Amazon affiliate? I'm only getting about 20 visits per day (6 months in). But I changed my SEO plugin, edited my posts and all of a sudden my Google search appearances are on the up!

Following your page and 90 days blog posts challenge..I am not a native English speaker so is taking me a while. Maybe 4 blog post per week , writing. And then edit them with the pictures, etc. But I am there. Following your advice. Still need to learn to be quick in the SEO keywords search .

it will take a long time to build that up as a brand that gets lots of traffic. Sure it could be a big site eventually, but it might take 7 to 10 years to build it. Focusing in on super niche specific topics allows you to rise up in awareness faster

Hi Miles, I have two questions: 1. Do you use your real name/personality on your affiliate site/blog? Do you use a pseudonym/pen name? Or do you just let the blog name be the "brand" name and you don't include any personal information on the blog? 2. Is it okay to review products that you don't own, be they physical or digital (especially since in the beginning you wouldn't have the budget to be buying products)? Would you have to include a disclaimer or something that says the reviews have been put together using research online and not personal testing?
