Polygraph tests are not reliable lie detection. They “detect” nerves and other bio signs. They are not used in criminal court because they are scientifically unproven. Notorious liars and sociopaths easily passed polygraphs, while innocent but sweaty or nervous people fail. It’s used in shows like this one because it builds tension, but you can tell even the judges won’t fully condemn someone for the results, they wait to see the reaction, and then they speak. By comparison this “lady interrogator” worked for law enforcement including the FBI and CIA, interrogating Al-Queda and Taliban terrorists. It’s her job of 20+ years to confuse and trip up interviewees and discern lies and force out truth. She is vastly more reliable, and her testimony would actually be used in criminal court.

RIGHT! When you aren't guilty you say "I'M NOT GUILTY, I didn't do it, I'm innocent." When they say "I wasn't caught..." I didn't ask you what you didn't get caught at, I asked did you do it. I didn't get caught = maybe, I asked a yes or no question, maybe isn't one of those. A court says, "Not Guilty" or "Guilty". They don't say, "the evidence couldn't prove them guilty, innocent."

The judges are always pushing to keeping the couples together especially when the woman is doing the cheating. There are a few things wrong with this episode. 1 it wasn't a suspicious position she was caught in but a compromising position she was caught in. 2 If the coin was difficult to read and they were using the flashlight on the phone to look at it, why not simply take a close up picture of the coin and just enlarge the playback. 3. Who were those other men that were on her phone. The timeline that all 3 pictures were taken was the same (at night). And if it was a picture that she said was taken from Facebook of her friend who died. Then it couldn't be a picture but a screenshot. And 4, There were no further question about the addresses. Like I said. The judges keeps asking only 2 or 3 soft questions and never more harder question. Are they paying per answer instead for an entire lie detection session?

Interrogations only work with extended interviews as they wear down the subject to get to the truth. A one hour interview is not going to reveal the truth as it is much easier to maintain a lie for a short period of time. When it is the interrogator, I skip to the end as i know the result of her assessment "truthful".

Y'all are so suspicious. If she's home with him on her phone playing games when is she cheating? She can't even go around her family without him being suspicious. And you can see there is an age difference, and he's not the best looking thing around...soooo, he's probably self-conscious and scared she's gonna leave him. And she should.

This is my ex of 8 yrs , I had 3 jobs (worked with all middle aged women) and did all the inside and outside housework ( because it's womens work) I was constantly accused of cheating and if I went for a coffee at a work friends home after dropping her home after work ,I was a lesbian. Even after I had left him he hired a man to watch the house to I guess to see the parade of men I was hiding from him.

She should stay gone. Very unhealthy. She looks very fed up. Those tears may affect the Cutlers, but I bet they irritated her. The more abusive/controlling a man is, the more he cries - it's a control tool.
