Oabona Kabelo that was my thought. If the overall effect is to make Africa self reliant, the why not start by hosting the meeting in an African country and have the money stay in Africa.

I join vuyo1100 to ask the same question. Why India for this high level conference ? I love Indians. But these matters concerns Africans. A forum I think young brains could learn, motivated and launch out. These words could generate a new generation of farmers and agribusiness youths who can change the face of the sector not only in Africa but the world. We should get to the people that are concerned. And focus on media orientation to get those concerned informed, educated and motivated.

Indians are originally from Africa 65000 years ago, but they don't tell their origins. Black people are around the globe and hide their history in Europe and America's or they don't know their own history.

Mr. Adesina seems to be a man of VISION AND MORE IMPORTANTLY ACTION and that is fantastic however economic development or and specifically here agricultural development must occur sustainably without industrial corporate pharmaceutical made seeds, fertilizers, insecticides, and weed killers. We cannot add value that is going to take away from eco value and human health value. This is the way of the west and Asians and they have permanently destoyed many of their rivers, forest, and are causing cancer health epidemics. Western agricultural systems may appear advanced and the best but when you actually use science to judge its system it is destructive and primitive. Its suicidal agriculture because it demolishes the environment and weaks havoc on human health. Afrika simply cannot afford to replicate hook line and sinker western agriculture. There is going to be economic warfare or conflict because implementation of a sustainable system continent wide IS ESSENTIALLY A DECLARATION OF WAR ON THE GLOBAL CAUCASIAN BANKER CORPORATOCRACY THAT IS ENGINEERING PLANETARY DESTRUCTION. Its the same with health systems. Implementing a replica of western health in Afrka will lead to massive disease on not wellness because its phamaceutical symptoms based. Its not a system of wellness. Its focus is in production of drugs that relieve systems. Powerful far cheaper PLANT BASED MEDICINALS WHICH HAVE BEEN PROVEN TO ACTUALLY CURE ARE DEMONIZED. For Example if Afrikan nations had well funded ADVANCED herbal BOTANICAL reaserch facilities that focused on discovering effective plant based neutraceuticals it is my opinion health care could cost only a tiny fraction of western systems while effectively providing health for millions. Liquid Vitamin C for example at i think 40,000 to 60,000 mgs INTRAVENOUSLY HAS BEED PROVEN TO CURE MANY TYPES OF CANCERS. LET ME REPEAT CURE! It only costs about $4,000 a treatment. Consider Chemotherapy which by the way has a pitifully low survival rate costs as much as $450,000! The FDA in the US recently banned intravenous administered Vitamin C! This is only just one of the thousands or maybe even millions of known and unknown cheap remedies.. The current global Rockefeller agricultural and health systems are ANTI HUMAN. THEY ARE GENOCIDAL SYTEMS THAT MURDER CONTINUOUSLY. There is going to be conflict if Afrika turms away from this evil corporate mafia

Good Day! To everybody watching AfDB Debate: Transforming agriculture for wealth creation in Africa. Published on 6 Jun 2017 The 2017 African Development Bank’s Annual Meetings was held in Ahmedabad, India from 22 - 26 May 2017 themed “Transforming Agriculture for Wealth Creation in Africa”. For a discussion CNBC Africa’s Bronwyn Nielsen is joined by panellists including President of Senegal Macky Sall; Akinwumi Adesina, President, African Development Bank Group and Kenneth Quinn, President, World Food Prize Foundation. My question to Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, President, African Development Bank Group: *A Is this was Debate or a Meetings and there was five-day event will see 2,800 delegates arriving from Africa and elsewhere. Published on May 22, 2017 13:25 news paper hindustantimes. On heare 55:57 minute video showed only what panelists says! No any question from any delegates? Question *B Is this Debate: IS to transforming agriculture for wealth creation in Africa or to give Opportunity for Indian business people! This is look to me this is for India as Published on May 22, 2017 13:25 news paper hindustantimes The Gujarat government, keen to exploit opportunities for local business, has seen registration by 5,000 Gujarat-based business executives - representing industries as far apart as education and mining, health-care/pharmaceuticals and energy. The major theme of the AfDB week will be giving teeth to India’s engagement with a continent where, despite goodwill, it has hitherto lagged behind China in project execution. India-Africa trade doubled in the five-year period ending 2014-15, to reach US$ 72 billion.

Agriculture started from Africa let’s the outside world leave Africa alone by letting them keep on on their own food style, and natural food not on all manipulated food style and system, we are organic naturally food made , not all this non natural food system, let alone Africa then let’s see what will happed all were stolen from African and the slavery is over Western World has to let’s Alone Africa to grow and the world food will become a good place as it’s was being created . Let’s us have many of our brothers in the Uk and USA and other places come together and invested their idea and standards to develop what was need and bust African economies together we need our brothers and sisters all over the World to progress Africa together thanks

I do not get. This does not necessarily mean that Africa should be the world’s farmers. Am I missing something? Yes African should learn to feed its people but trade equally on the global market. Additionally, we do not need our resources managed by foreign companies

We also believe Agribusiness is key to Africa development and success as most African economies are based on Agriculture. However the true benefit will only come once Africa builds factories to process its raw material. Exporting raw material has gone against Africa development. On our channel kzread.info, we advocate the urgent need to process cashew nut and other commodities locally.

It is very sickening when I hear these people talk about the development of Africa but fail to address the mechanism to achieve development. Africa has to start reducing its dependence on foreigners to come into Africa to develop its economy. These old leaders are stuck with the old slavery mentality of dependence on the West. A rule of thumb for the development of any economy is to have 30% of the working-class as engineers, scientists, technicians, and medical professionals. Africa must start to spend heavily on education to produce this kind of resource. If you have well verified trained professional they will find ways to fish. The growth rate is a false measure of economic progress, it should be based on poverty reduction and the improvement in healthcare. China has achieved economic growth because of its investment in education.
