As a follower of indian football I think we need to improve on 1. Grassroot development 2.more national team matches against better quality teams 3.signing quality foriegners in isl 4.bringing var in isl 5.building academies and own grounds ,infrastructure and basement for indian footballers 6.ivestment for advertisement (promotion) And finally bring 4 to 5 indian orgin players who was playing high level in Europe..! This is the thing we need to look on imo!

See i am also a footballer there are some thing if we want to change our foodball tean. 1st- We should have high phisic player it makes a great difference. 2nd - we have to play more and more friendly maches with aus like country or if we have to pay to them for that. 3rd - we have to be better in 2nd half at any cost. If you want to know i am 6.1feet and i play in attacking mid for Jamsedpur fc under 20 and i hve played in South Korea under sports academy so i have some experience.

India dedended very well against a very very strong team who are regulars in the world cup! Kudos to the coaching team especially stimac to bring in a resilient mentality, but one thing to point out is we could still have been better with passing; the way chhangte, suresh and manvir were dealing with the ball raises many questions about team selection, there are many young ball passers who know to defend and keep the ball with them apart from speed and strength which are most talked about unnecessarily (Messi is not that strong or tall), so pls keep these silly reasons aside and concentrate on selecting players who are performing in the national leagues (even i-league). What I see is a dangerous trend of stamping players for the national team even if their performance is not up to the mark for their clubs and that is toxic to the clubs who perform, why are there no players from kerala and odisha in the starting 11 when these 2 clubs have performed so well with Indian players in the starting 11 in the league ? This shows the level of politics and favouritism in selecting the starting 11 and even the entire team
