In cfbc boiler is more convenient over afbc because of : 1. High combustion effi. 2.Fuel flexibility 3. Low sox and Nox due to equal combustion temp. Throughtout the furnace. 4. High air velocity 3.7 to9 m/sec 5. Air pressure required in cfbc 1.5 to 2 psi and in afbc it is 3 to 5 psi 6. Low unburnt due to circulation 7. Errosion of eveporator is less cause of flue gas flow is parallel to flow ,but in afbc it is perpendicular to flue gas. 8. Quick start up from cold. 9. Meet of Higher load variation. 10. Fuel size 6 to 12 mm but in afbc it is 1 to 6 mm.
