Showreel for recent NFTS graduate and award-winning director Afarin Eghbal, specializing in mixed-media animation techniques for commercials and narrative shorts. Accolades include triple award winner for the 2007 Kodak Student Commercial Awards (1st prize Craft & Animation; 1st prize Best-in-Brief; 1st prize OVERALL WINNER), as well as winder of MTV ident competitions. Her recent graduation film 'Abuelas', an animated-documentary short, is gaining precedence in the festival circuit, having already been picked up by Sheffield Doc-Fest, Edinburgh Film Festival and LA Shorts -- to name but a few.
