That was one of my favorite moments in wresting. Harley did a great job in her role, Billy hugging Bowens when he saw how emotional he got, and Platinum Max jumping in joy as the crowd cheered is so pure and wonderful.

I remember watching the same moment that Anthony Bowens spoke of and feeling just as surprised as he was only because they were in Chicago.

I wasn't there that night (sadly, I was supposed to be and got screwed) but Chicago loves you man and the Acclaimed.

As a straight male… the proudest moment I’ve ever had as a pro wrestling fan was the night Anthony Bowens came out on AEW TV. I literally cried, like a baby, the happiest of tears.

I will never forget that segment. I actually compared that segment to Shawn Michaels being “allowed” on TV to wear a tank top that said Philippians 4:13 . Yes I know not the same but, kind of . People really didn’t share their faith on TV and on a stage like that at a major PPV. And You getting to do that on LIVE TV honestly made me tear up thinking how special that must have been for you. Especially after the chant started.

Bowens comes off as one of the genuine good people in this world. One of my favorite people to follow on Twitter because of wrestling and our shared love of baseball. Probably the easier wrestler in the world to root for ✌️

Bowens, the best thing you can probably ever do for LGBT+ is to normalize it. So that no one thinks it's weird or funny and just accepts that it's part of life.

Thank you Anthony for being yourself on behalf of pansexuals/demisexuals, we are the + in LGBTQ+ among others. You make me feel like the world is changing for the better respect to the acclaimed.

And AEW didnt try too hard. Hell, I'd say they didnt try, they just let The Acclaimed do what they do. Anthony certainly should get a TNT title win at least. While I'm at it, they didn't try too hard with Nyla either(but he should be fueding with the guys & go for the other belts now. Instead of seemingly being a jobber, because really he'd be undefeated in the Women's Division. Or just have...3 or 4 loses).
