the best finishers are quick, easy to do, low impact for you and your opponent , easy on your back/at any age/any injury, can be done on any sized opponent (especially bigger/heavier wrestlers), can be done to multiple people in succession, can be pulled out fast out of nowhere eg The Stone cold Stunner

I saw too many lariat's, running knee's, and stomps as finishers in here. Some guys have 4-5 finishers in here too. Video game wrestling. I definitely like the reverse GTS from Bandido.

@@BerylliumGold a finisher is a finisher. Finishing moves have become signature moves because of too many kick outs these days. When the story fits right, kicking out of a finishing move makes sense. Not every story should have someone kicking out of a finisher. That just makes the finisher look weak.

Unpopular opinion I don’t like the buckshot lariat. I think it looks weaker than a regular lariat and I think it’s to do with the slight pause before he hits it. Like it’s impressive athleticism but not a finisher that looks like it should be so protected especially with Adam page not exactly being unit.

Anyone in here is signed to some kind of deal with AEW except the NJPW guys. Either they’re fully contracted to AEW, to ROH, or they’re on a pay-per-appearance deal but that’s direct through AEW.

Yes, those traditionally unsafe gourdbusters, European uppercuts, submission holds, many of which a lot of these wrestlers have been doing for over a decade without hurting anyone, including themselves.

A lot of these matches were on either Dark or Elevation, which takes place before the main show. Most of the crowd either hasn't arrived or are still finding their seats.

Most of these amateur wrestlers have really plain finisher

Running knees and frog splashes are played out like the super kick and rko (cutter)
