Short entrances like these are just unacceptable in 2023, especially when there's so many iconic entrances that deserve the full treatment. This may be AEW's first game but its not Yuke's. It's pure laziness. But the minigames totally belong, yeah. Should've allocated the minigame budget to the customisation and entrances.

0:15 I just realized, ADAM COLE'S Entrance is the only one that starts in the ring.

Some of the entrances are pretty cool. I’ve played one match so far and it’s a pretty fun game

Did you expect this company to have their priorities more straight than others?

The only biggest problem I have is the reversing and the kicking out. First the kicking out is complete luck, and reversing is weird because you don’t have a prompt.

I hope in the next game we get full entrance like 2k does

Revenge had full length entrances, what are you talking about? No Mercy had short entrances, not Revenge.

There are WWE entrances in the game you can get, so far I found AJ Styles, Demon Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, and there is a few more.

Kinda curious with the entrance music, Maki Itoh music is in the game..... So other roster that didn't make it have it too like Butcher Blade, TH2, Saraya, etc.?

Sorry but the entrances in this game are just a total dealbreaker for me. Might get it on sale some day if they keep their promise and continue updating the game.

The short entrances work for everyone except Jericho

Hope they have it so you can use the attire parts you buy in the item shop and wear jackets in the ring

I'm seeing lots of comments about the length of the entrances... This is supposed to be a fighting game, so they're basically treated these like short character intros from games like tekken and street fighter. I really appreciate the style of it, I would like full entrances, but honestly it would make the game more like another rVSsd clone instead of it own entity.

I really hope they add will ospreay and NJPW into the game

the entrances suck. They are one of the things I most look forward to in wrestling games. The fact that they are so short sucks, especially when the entrance has a great song. Like CM Punk's entrance you barely get the music and I wanted to enjoy the "Judas" entrance. This would be enough for me to wait for a sale before purchasing this game.

I’m happy they used moxleys original entrance theme. I can’t stand him but his old entrance theme was way better and his matches were at least watchable then

7 second entrances are not the one

I defeated Big Show in a tag match but didn’t unlock him.

So...they're not actually full entrances, just appearing on the ramp than cutting away (except Adam Cole who's already at the ring). That's kind of underwhelming.

No Claudio? No Buddy? Only 4(!) tag team entrances in the game? They could create Moxley + Brian, Luchasaurus+Jungle Boy, i dunno, they simply can create few more tag teams with what we have now. If there will be no more current aew wrestlers it will be really sad, because I really want to see House of Black, or ReDragon

Second one. I read some article dunno maybe year ago or so and it said that they are planing to update attires and appearances via dlc, so maybe they also will update entrance songs

FTR are already available as DLC, and Bobby Fish is no longer with the company. Acclaimed will be added at some point too.

@edward10619 But that's because Cody was under contract when they first started working on the game, and for the full first year and a half of its development. Fish is no longer under contract and his model as not been created, so they can't create his model for a future dlc unless he signs a new deal. O'Reilly is still under contract though, so maybe O'Reilly and Roderick will get a spot in the game.

Great that they're still making PS2 games in 2023. All-time great console! 🥰

I can't believe they made a wrestling game that only shows about 5 seconds of each fucking entrance hahahaha. Why in the hell would they possibly do that? Give us the OPTION to skip the entrances, but don't just automatically skip over them. I mean, these are things that wrestling games TWO DECADES ago included that they've decided not to include. That's so dumb.
