I'm very sad there aren't full entrances in this game. I get they were trying to do more of a throwback to old games were entrances were short, but it would have added a lot to the game itself. Entrances are such a big part of Pro Wrestling. Christian Cage's theme not being in the game sucks too...one of the greatest.

This game seems to be a flop in many areas. Entrances, no commentary in the matches, a very small roster, a small amount of voice acting in general. Graphics aren't that bad, but I am not buying this game, until they seriously improve it.

Since its a live service game, hopefully they focus first on getting the guys who arent there out of the game, update all the overly outdated talent, and actually mocap entrances and victory animations. Theres no excuse after three years of development to not have anyone winning a title even get a full announcement after, and even TNA Impact had a better short entrance system.

At first I thought there was no entrance music because I guess KZreadr's where turning it off so they wouldn't get copyright striked by KZread when looking up gameplay videos to see what the game was like. That was the only thing that disappointed me.

@@TheMortician its a mistake anyone couldve made, I only know cuz I still play n64 and recently played through wm2000 with gangrel :p Disappointed with the entrances though. I get it fits with no mercy but still just kinda feels rushed and lazy. Doesnt feel fun, is a bummer.

They did a great job. I just hope they take everyone’s advice and do an update to fix the entrances and make them a full entrance. Cuz that’s what everyone loves about wrestling games the entrance. So hope they do make the entrances longer in an update later

They'll more than likely do that if they make another AEW video game. Even TNA IMPACT's first game had partial entrances so it's not THAT concerning to me and I like to think if TNA got a second game they would've done full entrances as well. I was mostly sad that the wrestlers didn't have their entrance music or so I thought, either it got patched it or KZreadr's were turning the music off due to copyright concerns.

Honesty bro, it may be even shorter than tna impact and wwe all stars. Those games were borderline acceptable because how much personality was in it. These are even shorter. I somewhat like sting and Christian cages entrances but in tna impact they were better. Which is wild because at the time those entrances were considered short.

This answered one of the two biggest questions I had about the game. If the entrances are just these super short clips, and a lot of the music is lacking, the game is not worth getting. Maybe if Yukes makes a better game for them in the future, because the WWE 2K games are not great, not like the Raw vs Smackdown 2007 days.

Street Fighter 6 has more elablorate entrance than this, and it's not wrestling game, smh there's one thing in trying to relive the N64 days gameplay wise, but the entrance is not one of them, back then it was data space issue due to being in a cartridge, that's no longer an issue now

Barebones roster, barebones match types, garbage story mode, 10 second entrances, literally everything outside the action happening inside the ring bell to bell sucks about this game. Piss poor effort for a AEW game. Love AEW to death but if there’s one thing WWE is doing better than AEW it’s the games. Very disappointed in this game.

@@iKilLaMoDz bro if you want to act like the limited roster, 15 second entrances, barely feature complete online, stingy match type menu, inconsistent hit detection, garbage story mode, don’t add to the lazy entrances that ruins this game, your the one acting delusional. This games strongest effort is basically copying and pasting no mercy from n64 and they barely nailed that at 100%. I can’t even find a steel catch match in this game, which no mercy had as a match type back in the 90s. I love wrestling and AEW is my favorite company right now, but their game absolutely sucks. At the end of the day as scummy, crappy and unpopular WWE 2K has become, their games are objectively better. Wish I was able to say different with this game, but I’d be lying. Outside of better gameplay, WWE 2k beats AEW in literally every other way. All I can do is hope future updates add content to the barebones product of a wrestling game. AEW overall is a better product but WWE is STILL owning them in the gaming market, something very clear after dropping this game.
