AETHYRIEN - Skadi
Skadi, giant and goddess associated with winter, wilderness and the mountains, made an agreement with the Aesir after they killed her father. They offered her compensation, one of which was to be married to one of the gods. That god was Njord, god of the sea. After living at sea for 9 days, she realized she longed to return back to the mountains and wilderness. This song is dedicated to her return.
I tried to capture the cold atmosphere with the brisk winds, snowy owls and wolves while creating a beat that symbolized her walking through the wilderness.

So Skäldi had to OBTAIN her seeds from Jnord's to have life growing inside her & had a long dangerous harsh journey back & fourth to do so & came back to her natural nature for which she hailed from & belonged to yes? The story is, yes, but she ended up returning back to the mountains which is what this song is about/inspired by. 😅
