have you thought about putting up a curtain or some kind of divider to seperate your space? (if you don't share a bed ofc). I dealt with this for years, having no creative freedom in a shared space, I'm only just now getting my own room, but if I was to do it again, I'd definitely invest in a panel room divider, they make really cute japanese ones online.🙃

@@kidalovelace oh my room is way too small for that plus i share a bunk bed with my sister and our beds cover a bit of the window, like its about a 30m² apartment with only one room so we cant really do a lot, plus maybe my brother will go to college this year (hopefully) so he wouldnt live here anymore and we'd be able to decorate however we want

@@Le_Uni oh wow that is rlly small and ugh bunkbeds are the worst. I always had to suppress myself to not bother my sibling. it's funny you mention your brother moving out, cuz that's EXACTLY how I ended up with my own room😭 he moved out so now I'm taking his room, there wasn't any furniture, so I literally had to buy everything and even repaint the room. Curse my family for prioritizing his space and pairing us girls together, as if we don't want our own spaces too😕. I hope ur bro moves out soon and u & ur sister can finally have your dream room like me !

@@kidalovelace haha yeah i hope so too, although we cant paint the walls white is fine as well but whats nice is me and my sister both like the same aesthetic so it would be easier to decorate, plus i would be taking my brothers bed which means my sister would have the bunk bed all to herself so she can choose which one she wants, and we wouldnt have to worry abt deco like plants bc my mom is a huge plant lover so she has many and would buy more if needed which is awesome
