I always keep telling others that Savage by aespa is THE best K-Pop song i have ever listened to, and I've been in these streets for a while and no track has topped it for me yet. The song is cohesive yet changing as the song progresses, the instrumental stands amazingly on it's own but is elevated with Ning Ning, Winter and occasionally Karina's vocal performances and the Rap sections were amazing, Giselle carried all her verses powerfully snd I love her final rap were the pitch is raised up a bit, it's unique. The instruments used to produce the track are all over the place yet work so well with one another snd I love some of the little sound samples used. Ning Ning has a very beautiful and melodic voice snd her hihh notes are my favourite but winter has a somewhat distorted, robotic voice which, when considering aespa's concept gels quite well. Karina has great vocal and rap ability and so does Giselle, I love Giselle's vocal moment towards the end of the song. And THAT final chorus after the dance break, and the BRIDGE and the second chorus where the music stops a bit and just some shallow wooden drums are in the background. I love this song.

The fact that Savage became the most played track in my Spotify Wrapped 2022 speaks volumes hahah The ridiculously beautiful heavenly bridge contributed to this lmaoooo Some people *could* argue about that "my Naevis we love you" part but honestly it didn't ever irk me, even during my very first listen. And people wonder why they don’t do live much. No person could sing over all the background music. 2NE1’s Try To Follow Me had less outrageous beats and such and they couldn’t perform that well live; they were drowned out. But I will admit that pre-chorus would have sounded better louder, maybe even over the top layer vocals.
