That's a reality good lyrics analysis, but, on top of what can be picked up from the MV and the song per se, they did a series of teasers called The Drama Starts With Me, which portray them in different situations where they're forced to establish their own identity and stick by their guns (or swords, ig), in order to break their trauma. So, Giselle gets into a fight with her gaslighting roommate who spreads fake rumors about her, Winter kills a guy named Tony who ran over her brother, NingNing escapes her life as a choir girl which she finds soul crushing to be a biker and Karina is a spy who's undercover and pretends to be a celebrity. They're really well filmed, but, what's even better is the SMCU series which portrays them as comic book superheroes who have avatar counterparts which live in KWANGYA and who help them defeat an AI virus called Black Mamba, along with their guide, Naevis. That was a crazy storyline, really recommend it. Anw, thanks for giving aespa a listen!
