@@zack2804 Insight? Well, that's a tall order. Broadly, I started fresh out of school working in airframe aeroelasticity (flutter and dynamic loads) on a USAF plane for a general aviation manufacturer. I expanded into acoustics doing both FAR certification and interior noise control. I was fortunate to be asked to provide advise to the FAA and ICAO in that area and travelled extensively both at home and abroad in that capacity. I then abandoned the highly technical for the overview by doing technical project management on missile programs and aircraft defense products for a defense contractor. This eventually lead to an overseas posting that was the personal highlight of my career. In 35 years I worked for only two different companies and retired with the satisfaction of having provided improved products to customers with very different needs and goals. A few resulted in saving lives. I retired with good financial standing and the knowledge that my employers were each well pleased with what I did. I am certain that none of that would have been possible without the guidance of my instructors at the University of Michigan.

I'm a sophomore at a community college in MI with a 3.85 GPA and would love to transfer and earn my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering at the school. :)
