Very cool. You know, it's amazing. When nobody knew them; when they were piling into station wagons and Econoline vans, when there were no private lear jets whisking them around the globe. they still did it! When there were no adoring fans, million dollar estates in Marshfield, Mass., those five guys still made their way across the world touring. Pretty cool.

Joe's a very decent guy. sure the boys have their drama but that's between them. when it comes to approaching strangers (fans), some stars have more reserve and others are more outgoing. Joe may be more introverted and Steven may be more extroverted. Also, Steven feels a responsibility - that of a band leader - to be the good will face of the band he represents. 'sides - early interviews showed Steven to be the one jealous of attention showed to Joe. I love Steven Tyler, too. I also love and admire JP and the rest of this iconic band.

Cool video. I was waiting to photograph their arrival in GF-W. Little did I know they would be in "stealth' Suzukis. After seeing your video I realized that I got a poor photo of the motorcade when I was just testing the camera. BTW, I looked at a number of your airplane videos - also very cool. I really liked the Antonov.

I sure as hell hope that jimmy Crespo or Rick Dufay who contributed to one of Aerosmith’s best platters(ROCK IN A HARD PLACE)have received some financial recompense as in mechanical royalties since it was released in 1982.The lightning Strikes video is one of their cheapest and best and best directed videos!This was a low point in their career where Sir Steven actually fell off the stage from being so numb and inebriated!Rock in a hard place kicked my ASS!

You could tell Tom Hamilton was kinda waiting for someone to shout out his name or at least recognize him....yet nobody did. The camera guy had no clue he was even part of the band.....and the same with Brad. Joey walked out and everybody was like "AAYYYY" but I think it was more because he was dressed like a "rock star"....it seemed that nobody really had any idea who he was. The singer always gets all the glory lol. I'm pretty sure the "LI3" (Less interesting 3, as they call themselves in their book) like it that way, though. They still get all the money, girls, and benefits of being rock stars without the hassle of A-list fame.

+Andy P I'm not that sure if they like it... They got use to it because they had no choose. Steven is typical rockstar and likes all this chaos, Joe tolerates it and LI3 are even not totally in it (nowadays I mean and I know that people who are really into music love all of them, but Im about human ignorance right now) because only Steven as a "fanwhore" is still everywhere and makes his brand.

Oh,that's right.they did come directly from the festival in Quebec and not from the United States. I kept wondering how they were able to circumvent customs by going directly from the aircraft to the Suzukis. lol Cool, excellent looking video.

Of course every one in this band is important but not even close to Steven Tyler's presence, not only on the stage but as a person who treats everybody with respect and treats his fans (and even airport service man) as family....There is no Aerosmith without him.

Joe Perry lights a cigarette beside the plane, on the tarmac, around all the jet fuel and fumes! Rock n' Roll baby!!!!

Good video but you had Tommy, Joe and Joey hanging right in front of you and you made no effort to talk to them. Brad went to the right but he was still there. They are all very friendly and you focus only on Steven... Really?? Tom would have come over in a heartbeat if you had asked. It's like you guys throw them off. You go out of your way to see them. They appreciate that and all would have talked to you but you didn't ask while they awkwardly wait for you to say something to them and you do

Zep only did that so the fans at the venue wouldn't have to wait an extra minute more than the time the ticket said the show would start to avoid upsetting anyone, and to make sure all who wanted to could be home by curfew.

I was thinking that most would be at the age to be "out of the house". If it were me, I would have "ran away from home" -- just for that one night. 🧓👴 ✈

The cameraman must be Canadian it wasn't a BTO The Guess Who Neil Young or Rush or April Wine or whatever rock band from Canada but he doesn't know American bands or all the members like Aerosmith

With respect to the comment below about carrying a lot of stuff with them. They have about 20 tractor-traylor semis that move equipment from venue to venue. They each have separate Provost motor homes. They come and go in separate limos at each venue, unless in Canada - mini SUV's.
