I have to say Aerith`s constant comments about the SKY and how she doesn't like it is really weird. I don't know why the people who wrote this thought it's a good idea to repeat this all the time. I mean Aerith is an ancient , we can consider her like a NATURE CHILD.. or CHILD of NATURE. So the fact she likes the "STEEL SKY" the metal plates and not the natural blue sky ... is really absurd.

@@tanelviil9149I mean to be fair, she’s half a nature child, she was still raised in the slums. That might be the human part of her saying so, especially because the open sky represents uncertainty of what’ll happen for her.

Isn't it amazing? Pretty much all of the voices in Remake are exactly the way they sounded in my head back when I played OG FFVII as a young teen. I was blown away by how perfect the cast was when I saw the first Remake trailer with all the voices!

8:30 That's a black chocobo! One of the best parts of FF7 is the chocobo breedings to gain access to more parts of the world. Yellow chocobos can only walk on flat terrain; Blue ones can also cross shallow water, Green ones can climb mountains, Black ones are Blue and Green combined, and Gold chocobos are the goal, they can cross anything, even oceans. I can't wait to get back to that.

I hope breeding is a thing, but they said we can capture chocobos in different areas; it didn't sound like it'd be an option yet. So if we can't in this one, we definitely will be able to in the next one.

@@Koniving If we're riding a black chocobo in part 2, which in the original HAD to be bred from a blue parent and green parent, we either get the who shabang (maybe excluding gold, keeping that for part 3), or they've done something completely different and dropped the whole concept of breeding. Considering the chocobo racing, which is also in the trailer, is how you breed the chocobos, I feel safe to bet that it's in.

@@dennisc3438 Fair, but we still have a chapter structure... which means being isolated to areas (but we can use something to teleport back to Gold Saucer at any time), it'd be really hard to go back to the chocobo farm on a whim. Meanwhile we were told that we will find these colored chocobos suited to each region.

@@Koniving Good point. I'd argue that removing the breeding from the game would remove one of the core aspects of the game, and they surely couldn't do that. But they did the very same thing for turn based combat as well, so I might just have to take that hit as well.

(Maybe finally get a PS5? LOL) Also I love the shared reactions everyone has had for this trailer, so wholesome. Especially Cloud on the segway it gets me every time lmao.

I am a 40 year old Japanese fan and would like to thank you for being an important part of this project and make this happen. Just so you know how your job is affecting someone’s life, let me share my story. When the remake was first announced, I didn’t pay much attention to this as I had already stopped playing video games since 2000, but the OG game was my favorite when I was 15. The more trailers were released during the pandemic, I got impressed and thought this could be a good change of pace of my life, so bought a gaming console for the first time in 25 years for the Remake. I can’t express all the feelings. Nostalgia like I had already heard everyone’s voice somewhere, and pure joy like I once again became a happy 15 year old boy that I had never expected to feel in my life. I feel like I got another chance to enjoy the life the way I want to again. When the OG game came out, I was in Japan and didn’t know how beloved FF7 was overseas, so after so many years, sharing the excitement with people gave me even more joy. Every time Briana cried during her play through, I couldn’t hold my emotions, too, and I realized I became more pure and emotional once again in my life. If Briana sees this comment, thank you so much for putting your everything for Aerith. I really love every English voice actors (I actually prefer them over Japanese VAs as they are already well-known actors who remind us of other characters) and this remake has been one of the best things that happened in my life. Thank you !!!

One stand out moment in the OG for myself was the date scene in Gold Saucer. For me the song that played - Interrupted By Fireworks, is just my absolute favourite song across all Final Fantasy games, and I hope so much that they will be keeping this song in for Rebirth.

in the og ff7, when u breed the chocobo a certain way. you get different colors. and the different colors have specific abilities. Those ones have rock climbing, blue ones walk on shallow water, so on and so forth. the gold ones can do everything the other colors can do
