I ran across this quite a few years ago. I want to say well done. I have shared it so many times, over the years , when people ask where I went to college, this is the vid I show them In 1965, I lived in Waterfield Hall.......now gone. I used to jog around the lovely Eagle Lake. I watched Alumni Hall being built, and lived there a year or two. I visit cousins down there, every year or so, but always make it a point to drive thru the campus. It has changed so much, in the last 50+ years. The happiest, most carefree years of my life.

Morehead started out as a "Normal School" (teaching norms; that is, a teacher's college) and we in northeastern Kentucky applauded when, in 1966, it got its University status. I recall, in 1967-1970, as a Junior High School student, going to Morehead for music events (Junior High School Band) and playing a piano in Baird Music Hall for the KMTA recitals and contests. I am glad to see that it's still a compact university, where I imagine one need not spend more time going from class to class than being in the classes. And now there's a space program. Well done, Eagles!

Sounds kinda weird since the lake is over 15 miles from the campus

Mr Mans - This is Eagle Lake that is a part of the MSU campus. My first dorm, Waterfield Hall was about 1/2 block away. Watch the vid again.

I have ties to the local TV station in Morehead. Would you be willing to allow this footage to be aired on a regular basis?
