Aemond and Helaena Targaryen || Crazy in Love
Aemond in the book is a psychopath who burn the Riverlands and kill thousands of people without even a single drop of remorse plus he do it just so he can call Daemon's attention without even any strategy when it comes to war.He is just being stupid and reckless and yeah stupid.
The show gave us a different Aemond who is tormented by his insecurities and his thirst for revenge but yet very tender and soft to his own family.The ending of episode 10 makes us believe that he didn't intend to kill Luke.For me it is a nice touch.The only complain i have is that he should not be wearing the eyepatch while riding Vhagar 😘
Anyhow, remember he maybe very good in sword but he never killl a person before.He is just taunting him and if he wants to kill Luke there are a lot of opportunities where Vhagar can deep fry his nephew.
Some people criticize that the show intends to blame the dragon for the start of the dance.The thing is dragons always had their own agency throughout the season.Viserys said it. Vhagar resist commands from Laena until she finally relents.Daenarys is having difficulty controlling her dragons on ASOIAF.
I think Vhagar is having war ptsd when Arrax spits fire on her.So yeah. It was essentially an accident.

Aemond in the book is told by biased historians who tell the events without knowing how he felt and why he did what he did. Show Aemond is what he really felt and how it really went down. So, he is not really a psycho as the historians thought him to be. They assumed that he went to kill Luke, but they weren't there to know what really happened. The show is giving us how the events actually happened from the perspective of the characters, not from the biased historians who were just telling historic events. In other words, the show is not giving us a "different Aemond", but the "real Aemond". As for the dragons, they just showed us in action of what they were talking about all this time, that dragons aren't slaves. Vhagar felt danger for her rider the moment Arrax attacked them, and as she was also feeling Aemond's rage towards Luke, she acted out to protect and avenge her rider. Sad to see how many fans of the show still not understanding the "we don't control dragons, it's an illusion" stuff that's been pointed out well in the shows.

Vhagar a war dragon felt the aggression from Aemond and Arrax lashed out to protect Luc Aemond like him or not was foolish to use Vhagar that way that dragon has burnt killed and destroyed it won’t just let up when it feels aggression and the books are totally biased like the producers and show runners said they favor the Greens actually, so sometimes people say “in the books” but the books can be completely wrong
I love it. I do hoped that all they have change and all they have thrown in there means something because if it did it would make perfect sense. ❤
This is beautiful, I can’t wait for S2.

@NFFC since 1865 the targaryen`s married with other targaryens, all of them are family. Aegon and Helaena are married and they are brothers. Viserys and Aemma were cousins, Rhaenyra and Daemon are uncle and niece, and Daenerys was the uncle of Jon Snow. This was completely normal in the family
