The dance officially broke both of them as they both are traumatized in young age. So much so, Jaehera died in the same way as Helaena. Meanwhile, Aegon III becomes jaded, traumatized even scared of dragons. But, somehow he's still keep himself sane and ruled until his 30s. At least, he and Viserys II still keeping Targaryen legacy until it ends with Daenerys and Jon Snow / Aegon VI or Young Griff (Rhaegar's son in the book)

its sad if you think about how tragic the downfall was. there could been other ways if both sides were open to negotiation
