Gabby chose Beau. Eagles mate for life. People get divorced so quickly when there are a few bumps in their togetherness. Eagles can be fierce and gentle and determined and loyal. Their bond will get them through the storm if it is meant to be. I love this interaction because it is tangibly real and tender. They are communicating and showing their devotion. Outsiders thoughts don't change how raw this moment is, nor predict what will be. Their lives belong only to them. That look Gabby has in the thumbnail says so much and I think it is without condemnation. So beautiful.

I'm new here and quickly fallen for these two! I saw that this is Beaus first time as a dad, so im guessing hes young? They mate for life, so I was thinking this is Gabbys first time at motherhood? And are those really eagle kisses of affection, adorable. Sorry for all the questions, but I appreciate it.

despite all the naysayers, i believe beau will be a great partner for gabby! he is clearly very devoted to her and she chose him out of all the suitors who came to the nest, so i'm going to trust her judgement. he is inexperienced, but he has a great teacher and i'm sure he'll connect the dots soon enough (like he did with the mating! lol).

Perhaps he is practicing for future incubation duties. He practiced mating the nest before he mated with Gaby. Baby steps ♥

Oh my god. I am so, so happy about this. My boy is coming ‘round! This is very sweet, and may well indicate a change in his hormones. At least that’s the hope I’m hanging onto tonight. Thank you, LH, for covering this. Followup comment: I’m not sure he loves the egg yet, but he really loves Gabby. That’s clear.

Th egg may not be his after all however, Beau has claimed Gabrielle & this nest for his own ☺️❤️ It will be interesting to see what happens if the egg DOES hatch. Will Beau be a good stepfather? Will a paternity test be required? Tune in tomorrow for “As the NEFL Nest Turns” Same time. Same channel…

Beau seems to view the nest as his crib. Something is very much off with him
