All it takes is one hit on an intruder/perp/etc and they're going down from those slugs. More like a shotgun. All AEA's from the .22 and up are made for self/home protection in my opinion.

UTG makes scopes, red dots, grips, rails, bipods, etc. Good quality stuff.

Enjoyed the video time that I don't have if you hit your target that's all time doesn't matter anymore 45 cal takes care of that this gun is way beyond less lethal

Oh without a doubt Uncle Frank. People think that because it’s air, it won’t do the job and they’re sadly mistaken. I’d say this is a decent home defense weapon

Dope video, love AEA! I have the .357 HP Max and S45. They are coming out with a shotgun that is over 400FPE and an extended mag for the S45. Wish I had the .457 HP Max too, love my .357. Super reliable!

I’m on the fence because, a bolt action rifle is a common home defense tool, there’s different scenarios that come into play which can put you at disadvantages. I might be fine if I’m going against one intruder with it. I can’t rule it out but, there’s variables.

I bought the same exact gun about 2 weeks ago I'm just waiting for my bracket to put my site on so I can shoot it for the first time but there is a KZreadr on here I forgot his name he did a little test to give an example is it sufficient for home self-defense LOL him and his son shot a cinder block with a 9 mm handgun and it took 19 shots to break off the top of the cinder block when this 45 PCP did it in two shots with a 360 grain slug and as you know a lot of people are shot with 9m & they succumb to there injuries just with one shot, so a 360 grain in this 45 would be beyond potent enough, within a relative short distance range hope this helps.

if you're dealing with one intruder or maybe two. it's all gonna boil down to who's coming in there and what they're bringing with. It's sure enough gonna be effective but, can also land you in a jam because of the bolt action. you'd have to hug the corners for sure

Yeah this is more a hunting gun probably not for rapid engagement but if you get Range on your assailant ......it will Maim them 4 sure

I’ve only dry fired mine a few times and when I loaded a mag, it pushed one bullet into the breach and I’m gonna have to fire that to get it out. That, I’m not happy about.

That's kinda how I did mine I shot it 3 times with the mag that's all I wanted to so basically on the 3 shot instead of shuffling in a new round I pulled the clip out but it cocked the gun no bullets in it just wasn't sure how I could decock it with shooting it. I guess I could just load one manually.
