Thank you!! I had a panicked moment thinking my clothes were all locked in and this solved my issue. I’m 99% certain it was caused by my cleaner who didn’t close the drain cap correctly after cleaning, it resulted in the washing machine leaking on the outside, so inside makes sense too with the seal not covering inside if it isn’t fully closed. I can not afford a call out right now so being able to ‘fix’ it even if it’s only temporary is a big relief!

Hi Mr Washy Washy, your video is the best by explaining what AE actually is. Unfortunately, mine is a LG Top Loader 10.5 KG. The bottom part is very different. If you have a Top Loader video that show how to fix this AE issue will be life saver. My country is on lock down. Electrical service shops are all closed... :(

Thanks so much, solved the wrong code in 5 min according to your video. Very easy to follow your instructions. Think the code or the water came because the dampers are worn (ordered new 5 days ago) and today I got the AE code wrong. Now it works again, did not look for dripping water as I know that the dampers are the cause (lowered the centrifuge speed to 600-800) and there were some extra small stones and other shit in the collector. THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!

Thank you for this video. I can now add washing machine repair to my mum/wife resume. I suspect I need to replace my float sensor as the contacts appear to have some corrosion and is still tripping even when the float isn't activating the switch

GUYS for This who have the 10,5kg Maschine without this shelf: try pulling out the washing powder compartment and clean it AND Lift up your washmashine from one side and let all water come out. IT WORKEDD

Hi there, this video has been super useful to see where the leak is, but I’m not sure how to fix it and what the problem is with my washing machine. There is a leak from just above the mother boar, leak from the plastic material inside towards the front that is the same colour as the mother board.. could you please help Me? Thanks a ton 😊

@@karenfashaw8926hi sorry I’m having trouble finding your washer model. Ok Samsung Ae means there is something wrong with communication between the main board and display. You need to make sure all the wiring connections are intact and check if there is any water that has entered the wiring.

Hi! Opened up the panel but didn’t find any leak or pooled water. Tried detaching the cable from the sensor then back on again, however the AE problem persisted when I replugged the washing machine. What else can I do? Thanks.

I have an LG washer dryer that does not have this front panel. The AE error keeps flashing I tried draining the machine from the little front flap. Some water came out but the error persists. Any suggestions to help with this?

Hi it’s because it’s detecting a leak somewhere on the washer. There is a sensor on the bottom/floor of the washer the detects water. You need to remove the back cover. Start the wash and have a look at where the leak is coming from once it starts washing. Be careful and don’t touch inside the washer as the power is still connected. Look for the leak then turn off unplug and confirm the leak

it will reset one the water level from the leak has dropped. you can tilt the washer to one side that will drain out the leaked water and it will reset.

My split is just under the drawer... So I gather I have to take the whole front off
