Of all the disappointing things in the game, having this as a final boss would have to be up there as one of the biggest. What a terrible letdown for a final boss. I don't even feel bad about spamming spells to deal with it, as it amounts to nothing more than defeating the most basic of enemies over and over.
Just another playthrough to go now to get the alternate endings and other boss I'm missing, and then I'm finished. I'll put my full thoughts and mini-review of the game in the final all bosses compilation, although I'm sure it won't be very surprising to anybody who's been watching these along the way.
Build: Pieta's Sword +5, Abbess Chalice +10, Shield of Whispers +4 (Crafter's Essence Rune), Hallowed Triptych Necklace, Mineower's Ring, Orian Sorcerer's Ring, Radiant Flare, Radiant Weapon, Blessed Reflections, Divine Arms & Orius' Judgement Spells, 58 Radiance.
As I've explained in another video ( • Abiding Defender Liren... ), I'm just focusing on having fun with the game now, rather than trying to balance out each fight like I've done with every other soulslike before.

This fight was so lame for a final boss

In game 3 final bosses (one per ending). This is the most boring one
I was trying to fully focus on the video, avoiding checking the runtime on how much longer the fight will be, expecting some sort of second phase after this speech 'cuz surely there was going to be more to this boss fight but wow. Appreciate you showcasing this nonetheless, this fight was definitely something 😂

Is there a hidden timer on this fight? I got the bar down to 10% and he cast a oneshot explosion attack. The last two bosses are dreadful as they expose the frame rate stutter and targetting cam problems.

Yeah I’m having the same issue
I'm the only one I've seen gettin an unblockable 1 shot attack when he's near death. Have watched 6 different videos and it has not happened to anyone else. I kill the little prices like like everyone else except adyr decides to nuke my game
AU where Aldia from DS2 became the ruler xD Good video, while the boss was mediocre, your actual runs make me more and more tempted to get the game aha-
