Community college for gen-Ed requirements and also CLEP testing for courses that you know you’d pass (basic English, 2nd language if you already know a 2nd language, etc.) personally, I “won” the $60. gamble on like 3 courses through the CLEP tests 🙌]

@@lagom_ In summary: I transferred to a private school for the last two years of undergrad, and unless if it's Harvard/Yale/Princeton/Stanford, private school isn't worth it. The goal is to get the best education you can for the money you spend, and that's pretty much always an elite public school (U Mich, U VA, Berkeley, UCLA, Binghamton, Stony Brook, etc.). To answer your question, I only made it halfway through a master's before transferring to a Ph.D.
