Thank you so much to Christian and Alexandra for taking the time to share their stories. Literally two of the most kind and brilliant people I have ever met who were one of my first supporters when this channel got started. Could not be here without them cheering me on as a first, second, and now third year med student
I absolutely love hearing their experience with medical school. I can’t imagine the amount of excitement and relief they must feel for getting to this point. I wish them both the best in their residency 💛

So cool!
This video was awesome and got me so excited to be an incoming MS1!! What a joy to look forward to connecting with people like this who are so passionate about medicine and caring for others in their most vulnerable moments. Thank you for this lovely podcast ☺️
Thank you Andy and both the guests, Christian and Alexandra. Im currently in med year 2 and I've been having the toughest time. Seeing the seniors speak about their time it really hit me hard. Motivated me to do my best and that its always gonna be worth it in the end. This was a very needed video for me and it was the perfect timing. They are both awesome and in a long time I'm looking forward for what the future brings and I'm very grateful. I came this far and I guess I wouldn't want to be anywhere else other than here. Thank you for reminding me that!!! KEEP DOING THIS AMAZING WORK ANDY!!! It keeps me a little bit sane =). Huge fan of the podcast series!

This was absolutely heartwarming to hear. So awesome and inspiring. What a pleasure, thank you so much Andy love you 😊🤍✨
I watched or listened to most of the video. As one who has been through it all, I can say that this is the very best time of your educational careers. Enjoy! While "shadowing" before med. school may seem like a good idea (and perhaps for some people it is) there is a very real risk of closing the mind of the student prematurely. Every specialty and subspecialty has its negative aspects and shielding the student from these is a major mistake. I turned down multiple spontaneous medical and 3 surgical specialty offers because I had seen the negatives at a point in my schooling where I could understand those aspects and put them in perspective. Anyhow, congratulations and best wishes to you all from someone who has taught hundreds of interns, residents and fellows.
These two were perfect for this interview. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
amazing podcast! love y'all
its my dream to become a doctor. ive been trying to get into med school 2 years past high school graduation and im struggling with a lot. these videos give me kind of an insight and a lens to see the medical world before i inevitably become a part of it. it helps me know what to expect and the more i listen, the more passionate and unrelenting i become. cheers from aus

As a doctor myself, don’t do medicine. It’s not worth it.
